Beautiful game, fantastic story - something I've played even solo for hours and hours on end without it feeling stale. The costs for crafting can be steep, and XP gain slow, if you're playing on default settings on your own or with small groups, but you can adjust all those settings.

EDIT: After being made aware of Snail Games' extremely poor conduct on official servers and on forums and the official discord, and the VERY suspicious recent influx of positive reviews from private accounts with no other games than ark, I can no longer recommend this game. As much as I absolutely adore this game, until Snail Games gets their ♥♥♥♥ together I won't be giving them any more of my money and I suggest you don't either.
