Insurgency: Sandstorm is a ton of fun if you enjoy modern FPS and want something between twitch shooter games like CoD and realistic sims like. It's fun to play solo but it's even more fun with friends, especially when you flash them in PvE for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles.

The player character customization is a nice addition and while some cosmetics are DLC locked, most can be earned from playing, as you get one every level up (and every level up requires the same amount of xp) plus some in-game currency to spend on whatever you like.

The game can be unfair at times (talking mostly with my experience in PvE as I don't do much PvP) but it's very much worth it (and if you're on the fence, wait for a sale, then it's 100% worth your money)
