Game #36 of My Backlog Clearing Journey
Status: Completed

I enjoyed this game! The dismemberment mechanic is fun and unique, though it left me a bit overwhelmed with all the parts I’d gathered from enemies. Unfortunately, the bosses felt lackluster and dull.

The level design was frustrating—I was constantly getting lost, and some so-called "shortcuts" didn’t even feel helpful.

I played the original Tomb Raider games on the PS1 and was never a fan. But this entry truly set things right for the series.

Division 2 is a fantastic co-op experience, but it truly shines when played with friends. Solo play doesn’t quite capture the same excitement, and you might find it falls flat on your own. It’s one of those perfect games for a fun, chaotic multiplayer session—especially with a drink in hand!

Game #33 of My Backlog Clearing Journey

This game may not have a lot of content, but it’s filled with developer passion. It’s not huge—just a handful of melee and ranged infantry units, with most factions including some form of cavalry. The two or three types of warriors can sometimes feel similar, but in the campaign, the developers keep things fresh with new mechanics and unique challenges for the player. And the soundtrack? It’s an absolute delight. I can already picture myself as an ancient raider—see you soon, everyone; plenty of wealthy villages are waiting!

Imagine Herlock Sholmes, but somehow even more insufferable, and his sidekick is now a homosexual ghost. Spent half the game chasing an elephant around.

An excellent game, in my opinion the best in the series. Everything is executed perfectly: the plot, locations, and atmosphere are all top-notch. The DLC is also interesting and worth playing. I literally stood up and saluted my Colonel at the end. No more words are needed.

It feels like they were trying to create three games at the same time and put them into one and every single part of it fights with another.

I have a love-hate relationship with this game. It's often bland and boring, but when you play with friends, it can be quite fun. It’s enjoyable enough that I've beaten it twice.

The mission design is incredibly boring, the characters are cringe-inducing, and the ending is terrible.

Lacks the tone and atmosphere of the first game, but makes up for it with a thicker coat of polish and occasionally genius level design.
