Nice little game :)

I enjoyed this story a lot. the characters were interesting to read about, and I wanted to know more about them. I'm glad I picked it up for free; honestly, it's worth money in my opinion.

I have two words of advice about this game: git. gud.
Seriously, this game is very, very difficult. Even on normal, beginner-level enemies can and will kick the dirt out of you. And yet, it's really fun! The characters are vibrant and enjoyable, and the story makes you want to continue playing it without taking any breaks.
The only real COMPLAINT I have, is the controls. The controls are very slide-y; you can't walk too quickly in one direction and try to stop without sliding on the ground for a distance longer than the width of your character. Also, the attacks that she can do feel very very slow, which makes fighting the very difficult monsters even more of a pain. You fall into the groove of it eventually, but it isn't intuitive. I've found myself just using the crazy sliding to get where I'm going, but it's still unpredictable, and sliding all over the screen is particularly dangerous when there are cliffs you can fall off of all over the place.
A good thing about the difficulty and poor controls is that it's very forgiving if you die. If you die, it just starts you outside the room you died in. I think if it made it any more difficult than that to resume the game, it would definitely wear on you over time.
