Could have completed campaign in 20-25 hours, but got save files corrupted and took major time in collecting all upgrades, collectibles.

You might get so frustrated with dying too much, guns might not one-shot most of the enemies, but I can assure you, you will have a great time playing this. Doom metal in background and killing monster, this combo would really pump adrenaline in your own flesh.

Go for it, try to get it in sale, remember one thing : "Everything is temporary, but DOOM is ETERNAL"
