Why does the jump feel like you are landing in a sand pit? Ok game but offer something different than CS like a slide mechanic

Early Access Review
Was good when it first came out now its a completely different game. Would play again if it had the same feel it did at the start. The devs went back on their word of skillful and twitchy gameplay.
