A solid successor to the original. Lots of blood, guts and glory for the emperor! Plays extremely well, the coop mode brings in additional multiplayer which was sorely missing from the original on PS2. If you enjoyed the first game you'll enjoy this one even more.

Graphics look amazing, widescreen support, can't wait to put some hours into this game. GOTY contender.

This is not just game of the year material, this could easily be game of the decade. More companies need to follow this lead and actually deliver games that work at launch, even if it means missing deadlines.

As a player of the original game and the HD remaster, Definitive Edition is a beautiful remaster. A lot of effort has gone into making this game relevant again. With massive improvements to AI, pathfinding and matchmaking you will see less and less of what bothered you about the game back in the day and more of what you loved.

Still going strong after 11 years. The game keeps providing entertainment year after year.

Auto-detected almost everything at ultra on my HD7970 (obviously not textures), looks good, sounds great, and controls work very well with mouse and keyboard for those of you rightly worried about console port issues.

This has been a bad year for games on pc, this is not one of them.

Edit: The dialog, the cutscenes and story quests really immerse you in the land of Mordor. The game doesn't start you off easy and then increase the difficulty, this is a single ranger in the black lands. Often I find myself taking a wrong turn into an army of orcs and having to either flee for my life or fight to the death. Very well done so far in.

While there seems to be an overwhelming amount of bugs at launch with todays *next-gen* games, the latest voice-over DLC's from the franchise have made me attempt the game again and I must say I wasn't hacked and the game ran pretty good. I got my butt kicked but in an old-fashioned, I'm outta practice kind of way.

The game is improving slowly but really thats not why I'm writing this, its because the freaking drill sergeant Ermey. Having him yell at me in the game has never motivated me like before. It's awesome! No Sir I am not going to lose this round :)
