This DLC offers some nice graphical upgrade, although it will take you 20-30 hours of gameplay before you can see it =)

If you feel the base game forces you to use a lot of materials to build your rocket, then buy this.
If you're bored with the vanilla planet, then buy this and get 4 new planets to play with (and new gigantic "pets" to play with)

If you're not into super megabases and launch hundreds of rockets per minute until your pc crashes
then this DLC is for you - there's always new things to do.

its an easy recommendation for someone who likes HOMM series.
and its inevitable to compare the two while reviewing this game

I feel like MIGHT heroes in this game are not as strong as the MAGIC heroes in this game. its impossible to preserve your tropps even with defense or attack boost from the MIGHT hero. and since you can only bring limited army per stack, so there is no such thing as having 1000 of the weak units that can oneshot a dragon stack, for example.

and unlike HOMM, you can only have 1 hero at the start of turn 1 - so you can't play the usual strats of main hero gets the experience, while a sacrificial hero just go activate all the locations on the map.. you need to level up your town to at least level 3 for that.

they really went creative with the units here, there are units that can burrow underground, can charge like a bull, can attack safely from two hexes, can build a wall to name a few.
However, imo the ranged poison troops i feel are so OP,
In addition, you can't mix unit from other factions, since any town you captured will be automatically converted to your factions building and units.

and unlike HOMM, there's no "your unit has high morale allowing them to move again"

There is no more OP spells like HOMM's Blind and Expert Town Portal.
More over, unlike HOMM, you can cast multiple spells per turn, which will end up into crazy combos.
what kind of crazy combos you ask?
just look at the achievement list for some ideas.

I love this game.
it has everything that I like

• nice graphics
  
• controller support
  
• multiple characters that plays differently
  
• online coop
  
• multiple different builds for each character
  
• can have a quick session anytime as this game does not take long to finish

My only complaint is that this game is impossible to coop.

The best way to play this game is to run past all the enemies and explore the map and collect items as fast as possible.

you have limited time for each stage and the map is quite large - if you fight every enemy you see, you won't be able to explore very far.

since you're skipping enemies, its kinda pointless to coop.. or maybe I'm playing the game wrong
- but hey, at least the option is there.

but as a solo player game - this game is A+.
more people should try this game

the only thing the game is missing is cats

Like cities skylines, but you're planning the impending death to all the castle invaders from the land, sea and air. and unlike any normal tower defense game, this is the game where you can win.

i really wanted to like it.. i really do.

the RNG can be on your side in one day and will be against you on the other
if you crew is not level 7, they might as well become meat shields.
weapons and armors are expensive - and they need to be repaired and ammo refilled

this is not Suikoden.
this is not XCOM

and nothing is more frustrating than when the battle is not going your way
your archers missing shots - or even worse, killed an ally by accident
enemy necromancers raised dead army from your fallen comrades - turning the battle against you

No, this is not a game for you to enjoy yourself
this is a game where the criminals in jail have to play as a punishment

Spoiler: the game ends when you beat Dong Zhou - So, no. you can't unify China

I guess the game has replayability since the 3 rulers play differently, and in addition you have different generals which have different abilities of their own. In addition, all the rulers/generals have their own unique sprite/animations and not a color swap - so that is good.

for the price, you get the amount of content that you paid.
