Hell yeah!
Love SE1 despite it being a slow, unresponsive, clunky piece of software. SE2 seems to be a step-up in every regard ;D
Still VERY bare-bones feature-wise but it looks like everything is heading in the right direction and can't wait to see where SE2 is in the years to come ;D

Not much of a fan of creative mode conceptually so might stick to SE1 for a while longer but might use SE2 to concoct extravagant creations as SE1 often struggles with things barely more mechanically complex than a banana.

It took my entire FICSIT approved annual leave to write this review, see you next year! Hopefully I'll have satisfied ADA by then. If not, I'm sure you, my pioneer replacement, shall succeed in FICSIT's goal to Save The Day.

Step 1: Make the best game of 2024
Step 2: Have Sony screw over the playerbase
Step 3: Lack, of profit???

Timeless comedic grunts & booms. There's nothing more manly than the hyper-mockery of oversized muscles & oversized machine-guns. Button mashing your way through Satan to save America & Freedom there's nothing to not like about this game... Except constantly falling into holes or blowing yourself up... enjoy.

Scenario 1: You're not getting over it, but it's worth the struggle
Scenario 2: Do it 50 more times.

Update 3:
Still doesn't provide the enjoyment they created with Payday 2, nothing I was anticipating that would improve over time seems to have, even if they fix the game in the future I'm probably never coming back. The free-beta was supposed to be a keyhole into the game but turns out it was the entire game. Just buy Payday 2.

Update 2:
Tried to get my money's worth, grinded until I unlocked the last weapon, pretty much got bored after that, idk if I'll be back for a while. Still haven't got my weapon charms from completions in Payday 2 :')

Update 1:
I stayed away from the game for a week or two after launch due to it's rampant instability. This person's video review encapsulates my experiences as well as their own:

Original review: (from playtime during pre-release gametime allowed to silver/gold edition)
A refreshing refresh of a refreshed Payday 2 refreshment.

Cause I'm bad, haven't got past the first three heists, but they're essentially Payday 2 with better everything. Not sure why I bought Gold apart from "take my money Overkill", but hopefully the different editions actually provide different things at some point (can't remember the roadmap) but from day minus 3 it's just Payday 3 but with less players.

Reasons to get Payday 3:
- Amazing graphics but runs smoothly on older machines
- You've completed Payday 2
- You're fed up of Payday 2 crashing every 2 hours
- Very dynamic mechanics

Reasons to get Payday 2:
- Cheap as chips (on-sale)
- Way more content (if you get the DLCs on-sale)
- Still a buttload of players (not sure how that'll fare over the next week)
- Runs on even potatoer potato computers

Damn simple to get going with if you're a complete newbie like me. Hard to wrap your head around goals to playing as a noob though. Hopefully buying a joystick or more soon so I can get a more realistic experience and avoid the crazy sensitivity of mouse flying.
