Can't recommend. It has some interesting ideas, but it doesn't implement any of them well

I can live with janky game play. But the AI is simply too dumb, everything is a bullet sponge, magic and abilities does too little dmg or just doesn't work.
But the worst part of the game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ inventory management

As a part of the main quest, you have to kneel to Paladin Mike, so I cannot recommend this game.

Just play borderlands 2, it's way better

I've been looking forward to this game, and I feel a bit disappointed. I understand it's early access, so I hope a lot will improved

The AI is too poor.
Your minions can't path unless it's in a strait line, they often get stuck on terrain and each other.
Even if you have a horde of minions, only a few minions actually do something, because the rest are stuck or waiting in line for the minions in front to die.

You are never safe, because enemies can shoot magic projectiles that can only hit the player, no matter how many minions you have, your horde will get outplayed by a peasant.

A lot of your abilities and upgrades revolve around sacrificing your own minions, and it sucks. It's just unfun and I hope they move it to it's own skill tree/path so you can ignore it

On a positive note, the art looks really great
