The premise of the game is fairly sound but is a massive step down from the first game.

The controls are just bad - you often have to click multiple times to register a double click and moving objects can be a pain.

The levels are badly designed so you think you are clicking on a part of a table but it zooms you off to a location in the background.

A lot of the puzzles are very plain and simple but use awkward controls and obtuse instructions to make them more difficult.

Then we have the icing on the cake.
The game crashes constantly!
Suddenly a control will stop responding to your clicks - is this part of the puzzle?
99% of the time not - the game has glitched and you have to wrestle control back by clicking into inventory, zooming back or restarting the scene.
It is ridiculous that my high-end gaming machine can't handle this simple puzzle game.

So far The Room has a winning formula that they have stuck to.
Number 4 feels a little larger and a little slicker than the last 3.
If you enjoyed any of the previous titles you will love this.

Even after all this time this is a great, fun shooter.
It is nice to have everything bundled up in one place with Steam support for multiplayer and achievements.

This HOG really suffers from really bad design.

You get little muppets that can do things for you. But they are inconsistent. So you may have a fire muppet but he can't burn the spider webs away - you need a torch for that.
The animations for the muppets are slow and unresponsive. If you don't click within a few pixels of the target or that muppet can't be used here then the hint muppet takes his place, even if you can't see him yet, making it very easy to activate the hints by accident.

The collision detection is not great on the HOG but it doesn't really matter as the objects to find are so clumisly pasted on to the image you don't really need the search list.

The story and puzzles make little sense.
Often you find yourself wondering around with a heap of random crap just throwing your various muppets at everything until something sticks.

As you are not channeled in any direction you need to use the map screen lots - which, of course, is hidden away inside the diary screen.

There are loads of Artifex Mundi HOGs that just work better

This is an awesome game
The puzzles are clever but nothing that will keep you stuck for more than a day.

The characters and story in this classic point & click are good fun.

A lot of the puzzles are quite simple but there is an element of pixel hunting.
This would be ok if the graphics were aimed towards it but they are not.
Highlighting the hot-spots covers the objects in great big blobs of colour with no distinction of individual areas.

The worst part is that there are some unnecessary repetition of animated scenes. One puzzle in particular where every time you get it wrong you have to see a cut scene of dog barking - it gets old very quickly.

But in all a good fun game with straight forward puzzles and fun characters

This game is awesome.
Lots of humour and strangeness.
The game uses the medium of your pc in so e very interesting and innovative ways.
Don't read any spoilers.

There are some simple logic gates to solve and a boss you will need some twitch skills to defeat.

Apart from that a very engaging, funny and strange narrative.

This is a fairly simple, surreal platformer with very few platforms.
You explore the warped world for portals to take you to the next wacky dreamscape.
Short sharp fun.
Good saving system, there is only one instance where thumb skills come in to play and even that is not very taxing.

Awesome bat and ball game with some quirky humour.
There is enough variety in the levels to make it interesting and lots of power ups.
