Carcassonne plus tower defense. Super fun with neat implementation of a tech tree where you can lock/unlock techs to alter what towers and units will appear in your games. One of my new favorite tower defense games!

Incredibly fun 4x game with a unique take on the skill tree. I haven't played all of the race options, but each of them can be highly customized so there are endless play styles. I made necromancer cats- they all have (at least) nine lives. 10/10

You shoot Nazis. There's nothing more fun than shooting Nazis.

First game was great, and this one continues the tradition. I rarely laugh out loud at writing, but Monster Prom/Camp got me. The voice of the writing in this game makes the characters stand out. I love all of them.

9/10, can't wait for the rest of the content updates to come out. Definitely recommend to play with friends for a hilarious time.

Parkour system is great. Movement feels great, and the world is well-designed and fun to traverse. Combat feels weighty; however, hitting a zombie in the head with a sword should consistently decapitate it, but at lower levels, it doesn't because you aren't doing enough damage.

Infinitely replayable. Infinitely fun.

The music and sound effects are fantastic. The animations are smooth and enjoyable, and they don't take too long. The cards are varied, the characters all have very different playstyles and possible deck types, and the addition of endless mode means even experienced players have a constant challenge. Also, the new modding API means users can contribute their own content.

Literally one of my favorite games.

Used to have bad lag problems, but seems to be fixed with the last few updates. No connection problems, even when one person is on a bad connection. Good game, and now that the networking is better, I can happily recommend.

This is one of my favorite games. They regularly update with both new content and bugfixes. There are all sorts of systems to implement into your prison, including guard dogs, jobs for prisoners, water heaters, cell quality (higher quality as a reward for prisoners), and more.

Early Access Review
This game is fun enough, but the learning curve is super steep. There's no tutorial, so expect to dig into Youtube and/or the Steam community for how-to videos if you want to do even the most basic of tasks, like making a farm or building a wall. Once you have a handle on things, it's entertaining, but if you want something you can jump right in and play, this is not the game for you.

Do you have a life? Not anymore.

Civilization 3 is great. It takes a bit of micromanaging to get things going, but once you have a few cities estabished and a decent army built, there's no need to manually select what they build each time a tas finishes or your queue empties.

A warning: The game's tutorial mode is nicely hidden, and turning on "tutorial" isn't as helpful as it sounds. To play through the actual tutorial levels, go to "Campaigns" from the main menu. Then go to the campaigns that begin with the number 0. These levels will help a lot.
