The greatest computer RPG of all time. OF. ALL. TME.

Say what you will about Hideo Kojima; his stuff is never ordinary. Play Death Stranding for a couple of hours, or a couple of hundred, and you'll begin to think it perfectly normal to be running around the landscape with a bottled baby strapped to your chest.

The most engaging, charming and just downright cute game I've played in a long while. The little buggers that chase you are annoying and scary, but not so much as to put you off. I love that you can gauge how characters will respond to you by meowing at them and seeing what facial expressions they make.

I've been having a lot of fun knocking things over and rubbing against people's legs. I still haven't figured out the point of scratching. Maybe it will become clear, or maybe there is no point. It doesn't matter anyway. This is definitely worth a look.

I tried playing this game and my PSU exploded. Now I’m afraid to ever play it again.

This is actually a great game when it works. Sadly, it will randomly decide to stop working from time to time and you have to do some poking around in the registry, as well as deleting and reinstalling UPlay, to fix it. Shame that such a fun game is spoiled by these shenanigans.

Just updating my review to say that it's stopped working again and this time the registry trick doesn't seem to work. So now I just have a completely non-functional game. Looks like I wasted my money on this crap.

Further update: Well, I realised that I can still run the game by switching to my admin account to run it. Not ideal to be running a PC with Admin logged in but such is life. Although this is a fun game I'm still sticking with my negative review because a piece of entertainment shouldn't cause this much grief just to get it running.
