Overall, there are some cool changes to the franchise in this game. The ability to mold your civ between ages is a neat concept. It's just poorly executed right now. The whole leveling up a leader to get extra goodies is cool, and it deters new players who play multiplayer.

The negatives right now outweigh the goods. The AI is horribly busted right now. Be prepared for every Civilization to turn against you in Age 3 when you are close to winning the game. It will happen slowly before they all declare war and you are just "surviving" until you get your main objective. When the games knows you are going to win, it just gives you the victory instead of letting you finish your final objective.


All Civs go through this cycle where it releases in a bad state, it takes 1-2 years for Firaxis to fix the game up, then people love it before DLC drops to start the whole process over again. If you are on the fence for getting this game, wait about 6 months right now.

The game captures the property of GI Joe in only so much as the characters go. The game itself is buggy such as getting stuck in midair and can't complete a level. The boss design is lack luster for a beat 'em up. The overall quality of this game leaves much to be desired. Do not pick this up at full price.

This is a beautiful blend of well written dialogue and story with a wonderful tactics game. Highly recommend it especially given the amount of things outside the main story you can do.

Captures the world of Robocop well

I've been a fan of this game since it came out. I wish Valve would spend more time with it because I find this game to be better than the other auto battlers on the market.

Megaman X is always a good time.

One of my favorite deckbuilding games in real life is now on Steam. I recommend it for any card game fans.

I've loved my Steam controller. It took a bit to get used to it, but once you do, it's nice.
