I wanted to like this game so much but there are so many small things that irk me to no end. An example is a mission where you have to defend a couple supply depots. There are defensible walls so one would expect it would be better to have your troops man the defenses. If you do though they rout much much quicker than if you just left them in formation. Then, because they are routing they RUN OUT THE FRONT DOOR PAST THE PEOPLE SHOOTING AT THEM. The AI kinda kills this one for me. So much going for this game though. The campaign logistics and management system is so so nice its a shame that the battles are just so unfair feeling. It doesn't feel like its too hard like a game of skill. It feels too hard more in the way that scooping water with a fork feels hard.
