It's very easy to tell that this game was made both by and for people that love Warhammer 40,000 and video games in general. The attention to detail and care for the setting are self evident. It perfectly nails the gritty maschismo schlock of being one of the Emperor's Finest. The thunk thunk of power armor boots, the roar of bolters, and the murderous buzzing of chainswords all feel exactly the way they should. No other game so precisely captures the hammy power fantasy of being a space marine. I highly recommend it.
