When you get back, and want to get your alchemy up in Skyrim, better the price for the potion you made, the more xp. I found that Giants Toe, Hawks Beak and Wheat worked best, especially because they're easy to get.

Just checking, the second book in the Magician series is Silverthorn, right? (Just finished, you were right, totaly mad). You also mention recuring characters, please say Amos comes back, right?
