I am not sure why but in Bethesda games i'm always overweight and it frustrates the hell out of me.

Not a lot hours on the game yet, bought it in sale for 10 bucks. And I tend to go with the negative reviews so far. I have trouble committing myself to playing this game, not sure why. I really like the idea of the story but for some reason playing the game feels really dull to me. It feels static, lifeless. Hope I can force myself to finish the game as I do want to play it.

Started with the free edition but upgraded to the supporter edition, because I wanted a few more stages with my overpowered gear :P Kind of sucks that you have to start with beginners gear again. Maybe should be a mode where you continue to progress to higher levels untill you die. Kind of the tier system that Diablo 3 has.

I must say, as a semi-hardcore gamer I like this game to chill down after competitive gaming. Not sure if I will buy the full game, depends a bit on the price. But good job overall on the game so far.

Currently in discount for 22 euro, would recommend buying it for this money. It's a good game, not spectacular, but good.
I like the gameplay mechanics. I played it with a controller and had no trouble navigating through the world.

Story is also nice, but not as deep or complex as I would like to see, especially since the gameplay is so linear so it requires the story to be interesting.

Must say I expected more because of the Overwhelmingly Positive reviews.

Had to nominate this game for THE “CHOICES MATTER” AWARD. Man this game brings up nostalgic memories.

This can be a great game for a particular group ( casual gamers ), but not me. For me the con's outweight the pro's.

Pro's:
- Fun to play with friends
- Lightweight so any computer can run this

Con's:
- Portals can be damn hard to find, I like large maps, but chosen for small maps because u can find portal easier, and there is nothing more annoying than being stuck on a low lvl map because u cannot go further.
- Don't expect this to be a game where its focused on building homes. You likely have 1 huge home somewhere where u stash all your equipment and teleport to
- Coop you are forced to travel togheter so if someone needs some ingredient but you need another. No way to split unless you don't coop.
- I just don't feel challenged by the game .

The “Just 5 More Minutes” Award :)

Boring and repetitive game. At first its great to explore everything. Now I just want to get to the center so i'm done with it and can uninstall it. Great technology being used which should be used in more games, but hopefully not in the same shallow way.

Great game. Even though it has gotten such a low rating, I wouldn't mind playing it again. Nostalgic ftw!
Also gotten it with a bundle that still is available for 4$ + 7 other games at https://www.indiegala.com/evoland. Totally worth the money. This is a game you wanna play to take a break on all the other heavy games and just grab a controller and sit in front of the tv.

Like the other negative reviewer said. A game in early access doesn't has to be good but has to trigger you with awesome possibilities to be eager to play again and again. When I play this I wanna cry. Luckely this game was in a bundlesale for 2$ , cause its not worth the 14 euro, even if its still in alpha mode.

I think the game misses alot of things like:
1. Atmosphere. It feels empty and static and the maps are simplistic. Maybe add some variety in the maps in the form of different landscape / vegetation.
2. Concept. I think small develop teams who are "rookies" shouldn't make a game like this where there are dozens of big companies who make them better because of their resources. You should let your creativity go crazy and I don't see that in this game, no , not even in the fact that you can destroy a character totally.
3. Aimsystem feels weird and the bullets look like you are shooting glitches.

For the rest ill be nice because I don't wanna bash the 2 developers who are in a learning process. Keep getting up after falling and you eventually get there.
