Definitely more direct frights than Exit 8, although without clear instruction like the previous game, it took a while to realize the electric signage above the doors were the counter indicators (and hint providers). Because of this (?) my first play through allowed me to spot all anomalies and finally figure out that I was doing something wrong (going past yellow signs before spotting the anomaly, causing the counter to reset).

*This game does feel like it expects that you have played Exit 8, so people who haven't played or aren't familiar with that game may end up being even more confused than those who have.

Feels like a shorter game, but hard to say considering the first game trains (haha pun) the user's skills, so people coming from Exit 8 may or may not find this game more challenging. However, Platform 8 felt akin to a action based puzzle game with many of its anomalies compared to its predecessor- which was purely a spot the difference game, making this one fun and interesting.

Still a great game overall and cheap price, can recommend to Exit 8 players who want a similar yet different experience from the first game.

Fun game, figuring out what the words mean is satisfying. The game makes it so that figuring out the most important words is not too difficult. While most words can be solved contextually, there are several words that are only used one or two times- which makes it fairly difficult to figure out with such little context to work with. Even so, the interactions you have, the mini games you play, and the lore scattered sucks you into becoming curious as to what is actually going on.

The concept is fantastic though the game ends up being fairly short- but worth the cheap asking price. Looking forward to future titles with this concept expanded upon.

Omori was... an incredible game. 18 full hours blazing through the intriguing story. The story telling especially towards the end was unbelievably effective, it literally had me trembling and in tears with feels.

It is a powerful game, not only because of its excellent delivery, but because it deals with very REAL human emotions, fears, and challenges in life. The game is relatable with the troubles we face as imperfect living human beings.

The fantasy parts were amazing and demonstrated what they were- fantasies, an escape from reality- and often a band-aid to cover up our raw emotions, fears, and regrets. The psychological horror portions grasped how it feels to be afraid and how it feels to suffer...

Omori will be stuck in my mind for a while, but I can say definitely an incredible game well worth more than the $20 asking price. I applaud OMOCAT for creating an enjoyable, deep and thought provoking experience.
