Imagine sekiro but in 2D with a super charming artstyle while also being pretty gorey and also a heartbreaking story. Class game, dunno how it wasnt nominated for best indie in the goty awards.

they figured out the frontiers type controls and implemented that into shadow, while keeping basically the exact same feel for the sonic gens version.

The better PC implementation in sonic gens make this the definitive way to play the original as well, except for the weirdly longer loading times compared to the original even though there isn't really any graphical improvements (which it doesn't need anyway).

That saying, the Shadow section looks FANTASTIC. The animation work in both the pre rendered cutscenes and the in engine look fantastic and super expressive imo. Shadows section does look better than sonics, which is nice.
