Good time. Make sure your punching area is clear, don't play near a tv.

I've had an unhealthy obsession with what was going on at Valve over the last ten years. It's been really nice reading this and getting a clearer image. It's answered a bunch of questions I thought I'd never hear answers to. I'm very happy to have experienced this app.

The learning curve is steep. Once you get the hang of it the hours just slip by. Surviving requires your full attention and there's always one more thing to do.

After 3+ years with a vive this remains one of my favourite VR games. It's a very straight forward fps that gets the important things right. When it comes to running and gunning monsters with a variety of weapons it does everything right. The story isn't incredible but it's appropriate for the genre. My motivation to play isn't the story anyway. It's shooting and blowing stuff up and playing a badass space ranger.

The weapon holster system is great. Reloading is the right balance for the speed of the game. Shooting feels good. There are dozens of unique feeling weapons and powers that change how you fight. It performs great on my low spec computer. Amazing that this is a VR port by a small team. It puts almost every port by a large company to shame and just goes to show that VR ports can be great when done with love.

Playing Katana X using a vive wand to swing one sword two handed is one of the most immersive and realistic experiences I know of in VR. Beat Saber's immersion seems kind of...cheap when you really get into this. The way you must track the fruit in your personal space follow it's path and hack with the right force with the right part of the sword. It's nuanced. If we could get the fruit popping out in rythm to a music we might be onto something.

Mall Ninja's dream come true.

Destiny is the best feeling shooters I've played and it never ends. The basic appeal of the game is that there is an unending stream of enemies that explode with wonderful lights and noises when you shoot them in the weak spot. You fight an unending war alongside friends and strangers and it's always there to visit in your free time.

I've been playing Destiny on and off since the first beta. The latest free release has more and better content than the original paid game. There's a lot more content if you have a team to play with but I've never experienced it.

Plays like a point and click adventure. Very cohesive and atmospheric. Very interesting visuals and top notch music. It's a work of art.

3 things that should be simple to change and will make this game playable.

1. Fix the gun angles so that either the handle in the gun lines up with the vive wand handle or the barrel of the gun lines up with the plain created by the circle on top of the wand. Even better than that would be an option to adjust the angle like so many other games have.

2. Provide an option to tie the movement direction to the touchpad orientation instead of the head orientation. We don't hold our arms like retro tin robots. It works with a controller because you hold it with two hands ad it has to stay in front of you. In vr our arms go everywhere and when I point my arm sideways and move straight ahead it's frustrating.

3. The teleportation sound. It's cool but it's not over and over and over again every second cool. It's the loudest thing in the game and drowns out every sound in a effort to lest us know that we just blasted through time and space. Which we know because we just pointed a super bright recticule and blasted through time and space. It makes a little more sense during combat but during the slow exploration parts it's just plain dumb. How did you spend so much time developing this game and not want to turn that off?
