If you like PvE this game is great, it's a wonderful free to play shooter with fairly interesting story elements and you don't need to worry much about the pay functions interfering with your game time. In fact, the pay functions have a tendency to be easily worked out by the in game trading system, where you accumulate so many parts and rares that you may not have a need for that you can swap for the pay currency.

The PvP system however, is horribly broken. It's not balanced even so far as most console shooters are, and has a tendency to be filled with exploits. If you're looking for a game to kill time with some friends, but don't want to do PvP go ahead. If you want to do some futuristic PvP shoot'em up, look elsewhere.
