Just as with Warzone 1, they don't really care if a lot of people have trouble running the game as long as a core of in-game purchase happy-users are active.

I have been waiting patiently after the release to have the MWII run smooth. Most of my friends play it, so I have been really pushing it trying to ignore the low fps. I started my gaming life playing CS beta with 160 ms and 50-60 fps on my budget computer with dial-up, so I'm really not picky. My current specs are way above minimum requirements and even better than recommended for this game, but it keeps dropping FPS to around 40 regardless of game settings. I tried all the "FPS guides" and workarounds out there, but the game is just a wreck. With a fresh install of Windows, before rebooting I'm having 60-70 fps no problem. After that, back to 30-40-50 fps depending on gameplay.

Now I never give a bad review because of some incident with technical difficulties - but COD is always like this. They launch their games half-ready, be aware of that risk before you spend money on it.
