Remember the times when Bethesda was making good, rich, story driven games? And they weren't another Skyrim remaster? Good times...

This game just came out of open beta, so there's still a lot of small tweaks it needs. Definitely needs more content, but that will come with time. Also you have to play this with a friend, it just elevates the game.

So far, good job, not a lot of content, so gets kind of repetitive after a while, but with extra content coming next year I can see this becoming a staple among my group.

Are You still waiting for Left 4 Dead 3? Did You lose hope for Gaben to be able to count to 3. Well Look no further than Vermintide 2.

The game is substantially Vermintide 1, but the developers adressed some of the issues and bugs of the first one and improved on the formula with extra classes, weapons, and continuos support with new content.

A+, would recommend

I don't know if I'm just bad at this game or is this an objective fact (probably both), but so far the final boss in this DLC is by far the most difficult boss in the game. Yes, even more difficult than Nameless Salt King and Pontiff Sunavabeach.

As to the DLC, would I recommend it?

Meh? Depends if you're into PvE or PvP

As a mostly PvE player myself, It's definitely a good expansion, but very short and with objectively little content.

[Minor Spoiler ahead]

There are only two bosses in the whole area, one of which is necessary to beat if you want to get to the PvP Arena. If the DLC had just one extra boss, it would be perfect.
The weapons are nothing to boast about. Definitely fun, but except for Valorheart (Gladius and Shield combo) nothing really shines.
All in all, it took me around 2 hours to get from the start to the final boss, passing through the first boss. And another 2 hours to beat the final boss... so yeah, 4 hours of gameplay.



As for PvP, the Arena is really good. I love the brawl with 4 or 6 players. I'm not a huge fan of PvP in Dark Souls, but this one is definitely fun. It should have a long life span as well and will take over Pontiff Sulyvan Arena very quickly

To conclude.

For PvP players definitely a great addition to the game

For PvE fans, good buy, but short.

For first timers, stick with the base game for now, decide if you like it and then buy the DLC

All in all: 7,5/10

It's fine...

Perfect game for sadistic f***s who miss the days of Manhunt and wanted Hatred to be a good game.

Pros:
- You can kill people. In many different ways
- 80s Nostalgia
- Great music and graphics
- Story seems boring at first, but gets really interesting in the end
- Challenging, but not impossible

Cons:
- 4 hours of gameplay if you run through. Wished it was longer.

Overall, a nice passtime for a weekend between saving Tamriel, killing Zynyak or working for Handsome Jack.

But this...

Moon Studios, You managed to find a heart in this chest and make it cry like a little girl.

The only problem I have with this game is that I can't cry longer! This is the perfect combination of great graphic design, astounding music, beautiful story and superb mechanics.

My flatmate told me she wants to play 3 good video games this year and she asked me to choose. Ori and the blind forest was my first thought!

I just hope for Moon Studios to not stop making great games.
