I do not recommend this game just yet. It was released too early. There is hardly anything to do in it apart from 1 route so that backs up my point.

-- Graphics --
Graphics are okay, but I feel as if the sunny setting is a little too bright and everything seems a bit blurry instead of sharp. I've messed with the graphics settings to see if I could make it a bit sharper but to no avail. I think the developer may have intentionally made the graphics like this so that it can at least run otherwise, it would be pretty jumpy. Not to mention, it already is to some degree, I find myself going from 75 fps down to 12 fps in some regions of the map so something needs to be done about that.

-- Controls --
The game is dead simple and easy to learn and pick up from the start. You get some hints at the beginning which is really nice. Someone playing this new would not have a clue what to do or what buttons to press but the hints makes it easier and saves you from reading all of the controls. I played this game with the Logitech G920 Gaming steering wheel. I was pretty happy that it was supported and the setup was dead easy. I have a few gripes with the steering wheel in this game. When ever you go over a manhole or drain on the side of the road, the wheel gets a force feed back jolt to the direction. In real life, this would not really happen as much. The jolt though is quite strong and has the ability to take your arm off if you are not careful. I think this feature needs to be relaxed a little and the realism of it should be looked into again.

-- Game Play --
Quite a relaxing game to play and enjoyable, but the AI is rubbish. They frustrate me quite a lot to be honest. Some of them don't know what lane to go into or which direction they need to take. I find that their braking is quite severe and at the last minute instead of a gradual slow down like in real life. Their brake lights also don't come on until they are about 1 sec away from stopping which can also be annoying when you are behind them and cannot see what is coming up in front of you.
I also find the roads to be extremely narrow as well. When it comes to some streets with their lanes, the lanes feel very thin and you have to drive with point precision just to get between cars. The lanes need to be a little wider to reflect real life, not just slightly wider than the bus.

-- Recommendation --
The game has some potential for those sim lovers out there but I would wait a bit for this game to develop a bit more before buying. It lacks the content required to be fun. I would also like to note, since driving around in this game, I have not seen another bus on the road as of yet. I am not sure if they have intentions for this to be a multiplayer thing, but it would add to the realism that other buses are on course with you, giving you that sense of not being alone and the only bus on the route.

How the creator of this game did not suffer an aneurysm from creating it....
I am already suffering an aneurysm from playing it. Very hard puzzles but its worth it! Happens to be one of the most difficult puzzle games I have played to date! I still do not comprehend time travel.

I am disappointed that this was the PSX version and not the PC version. I have the PC version, but unable to play it due to compatibility issues and would have to setup a virtual PC on Windows 98/XP. I thought that they may have re-released the PC version on Steam but to my disappointment, it was the PSX version. The graphics are horrible and there is a lot of frame drops while playing. The PC version play a lot smoother than this and looked a lot better. Why this got put on here with a PSX emulator is beyond me. I wanted the PC version of this game to digitally own. Glad it was only £3.99 otherwise, paying more would of just been even more upsetting.

I absolutely 2000% recommend this game to anyone who loves the Half-Life series. I know its a massive disappointment that Half-Life 3 is not around the corner any time soon, but if you look past that and concentrate on what you see here, Valve have demonstrated what they could achieve with Half-Life 3.
This game sets the future of gaming that I think Valve would like to embark on a path to, which is Virtual Reality. I have played 7 hours of this game so far when writing this review and I have got to say, I am impressed with the work put into this game.

All of the attention to detail is mind blowing and the changes that they made from the other original Half-Life games were worth it as well. When I say changes, I mean minor details such as the healing stations, the weapons compared to what we seen for Half-Life 2, the new gravity glove, the ability to interact with everything! You really have to look around in rooms and spend a bit of time trying to find resources, otherwise if you don't you will find it harder to progress, but there is a balance in there. You do not always have to check entire rooms out. There is some area's that you can just pick up the resources as you see them. The gravity glove was a fantastic idea as well, allowing you to pick up items from far instead of having to walk up to them and pick them up. I do wish they made better storage slots on your wrists though. Being able to carry 2 items around did not really cut it for me in this instance, as I wanted more grenades!

I have never been so immersed into a game until this came along and I love it. Having the VR adds atmosphere to the game, makes your surroundings more believable and makes you fully engaged with it. This was, by far, Valves best choice and direction.
It also seems like they have managed to turn this game into a semi-horror VR experience, so I am enjoying the jump scares they threw in as well.

I give this game a generous 9/10 overall for a lot of reasons
Please note, I played this game with the HTC Vive. The controls were not perfect, but I did get a good blast out of it. You may get a better experience using different VR sets. Most likely the Valve Index which I am yet to try out.

I really hope to see more of this by this company

As much as I love this game and what it has to offer as a online competitive game, I highly do not recommend it for the biggest problem the game has, its online community. It has so many toxic players, I ran out of fingers and toes to count on. The toxic level of this game is far more greater than any other game I have played online.
Psyonix LLC claim to be doing something about this by stepping up the Abusive or Harassment guidelines, but they have over stepped it by far more than I imagined.

I do not know if they have a system in place that counts how many reports you have and automatically ban you for X amount of days, but if they do, it is the wrong approach. I have been a victim of a false ban in this game. I do not use text chat or voice chat, but I only use quick chat. I received a 3 day ban from them for Abusive or Harassment with no evidence supplied on the screen. So I submitted a ticket to appeal the ban. The only answer I got back was "If you are banned, you are banned. We will not lift the ban".
They have stopped caring. Bad approach for a developer. I submitted the ticket asking for the evidence of this ban, they down right refused to provide any, so I was banned for 3 days unjustified because some little dickletts abuse the report system.

So unless you can look past all the toxic players, it is a great online game and you will have a lot of fun with it.
If you cannot stand toxic players, do not buy this game unless you have a good mind set to ignore all the crap that gets said to you. It is pathetic and it is pointless. It goes to show that the world is not as kind as we would hope it to be.

I prefer to play against PlayStation players because they cannot type in chat, only use quick chat which is much more less toxic than the PC players in this game. Only problem is, you can disable cross platform gameplay, but you cannot disable yourself off from the toxic PC players.

So buy this game, but make sure your sanity is in check first before you do.

Since my 3 day ban, it has left a sour taste and I might be uninstalling the game.

So, I finally completed this game (Xen update as well with the new added boss)......

OMG I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!

You guys did a better job than Valve! I cannot see why they would not hire you lot and get you to work for them and complete Half-Life 3 :D (Wishful thinking).

But other than that, this game needs to win some rewards big style! You guys pulled off a fantastic piece! Level design was spot on. Textures and graphics - Spot on. Boss battle in Xen - EPIC! Ending thing (No spoilers) Fantastic!

I am recommending this game to all my friend because I had fun and I want them to have fun too. I waited patiently for the Xen update and I am glad I did. It paid off. This game was worth the money!

Congrats on making this! Please make more like this!

Saw this game and expected the same handling as Rollcage, which was a fantastic game back on the PlayStation One. But was disappointed with the handling and how the maps where laid out. The handling is nothing like rollcage at all. The cars turn too bad and skid off too much. Its as if they took the arcade feel away from Rollcage and said "Stuff it, lets add realism to it instead". Too many obstacles to bump into which sends you flying outside the map and hitting barriers making it a very difficult game to play. It is not as fun as the original Rollcage.

The only positive thing I can give this game is its graphics. All the visuals are very nice. Good choice of making this game in the Unreal Engine.

The game can be great, it just needs a handling overhaul to match the original rollcage in my opinion.

Only played 25 minutes of the game then requested a refund.

I have been playing this game for over 3 weeks now. I absolutly love the game. The thrill you get from it is just what you need in a game. My heart races and a pump of adrenline start flowing through my veins when I'm being shot at or I am some of the few last survivors. I love playing this with friends because it brings us together as a team.

As for the game, I have a few good things and a few bad things about it.

PRO'S
- The game has a good loot range already with weapons and ammo throughout the whole map.
- Vehicles are good to have in the game as they are a life saver sometimes.
- The circle to stay in is a brill way to make the game last man standing.
- The map is a fair good size.
- Weapon's feel good plenty of them.

CON'S
- The games graphics should be locked a bit or changed in a way for people using lower graphics settings because lower settings give's you an advantage to see people in the distance. The Rendering distance changes the grass rendering, so hiding in grass offers no real camoflauge.
- Some of the vehicle's need to have their stability tuned a bit, for example the motorbike. When at high speeds, the bike has the tendancy to drift when taking sharp bends going top speed. Other vehicles do this as well.
- Another map should be introduced to keep the game interesting to people and the map / server is random, rather than people getting the option to pick which one they would rather play on.

Overall, very good game, just needs a few adjustments.
