Sekiro pretty much rules from beginning to end. Maybe the best ninja game I've played since Tenchu 3 on the PS2. If you come in treating it like Dark Souls though, you'll get your butt handed to you. Found this a lot more welcoming to new players than Dark Souls. You don't have any PvP to worry about, you don't have a stamina meter to manage, and you don't really need to worry about stat/gear builds. But just because it's easier to grasp at first doesn't necessarily mean it'll take it easy on you once you get your feet wet -- you'll get the challenge you want out of Sekiro.

Also, take my advice: get the Mikiri Counter as early as you possibly can. Absolutely trivializes certain fights, and looks super cool when you land it.
