The good:
The gameplay loop itself is a pretty fun if shallow PvE. Very fun to play with randos or friends alike. The upgrades and character customization are decent and give a real feeling of advancement. It is relatively well optimized for older cards even if it stuttered a bit on my 2070 Super.

The bad:
While the game itself is fun, I can't recommend it now that Sony is requiring PSN accounts in order to play. Beyond this, there is a superficiality to the game that I can't quite put my finger on. Each stage feels shallow filled with all the same assets and enemies. Once you've played the game for an hour I don't know how much more interesting it really gets. That said, I put in my ~2 hours and requested a refund. I would consider playing again in the future if Sony drops the account requirement, but $40 feels far too much for this particular game.
