To be honest, I find this game to be boring. There's something about it that's weird to put my finger on. Gameplay is great actually, story is so - so but there is something that's bothering me - and I played all S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games until I couldn't started living in that world. I love discovery, open-world games and I actually spent hours walking around in Day's Gone's world... It seems weirdly repetitive to me. It looks gorgeous, but I'm honestly bored with this game. Not sure why... I'll try to push it a bit more and see if it gets any better - as of this review I'm at 25 hours.

what a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. wanna be - almost there though. Sadly at every scene I imagined that I was playing stalker and not a Metro game. New weapons are nice, stealth is a hit and miss and some creator behavior is simply cheating by the server :-) But it's still a fun and a beautifully crafted game.

Repetitious Tomb Raider type of gameplay. Played it for 7 hours and got bored out of my skull. Linear game mechanics, incredibly unuseful healing mechanic - this is one of the most boring Star Wars game I've played in a while. Comparing this to KOTOR is like comparing a Tesla to Ford Focus. No depth of content, as shallow as it can be with completely forgettable characters. It's a sad step forward...

But, good gameplay for those who might enjoy it. For me, a die-hard Fallout 1, 2 fan who tolerated Fallout 3 because it was First Person but couldn't stand Fallout 4; loved the original Hitman and SplinterCells but couldn't tolerate the watered down, dumbed down later releases - this game is not worth spending a dollar on. I tried my best to like it, gave it 7 hours in total in two different days... Sorry, couldn't...

Finally - I finally got a chance to play this game, and I am so happy to see that it went back to its original roots. I had stopped playing hitman after it became a watered-down console port for the babies. This is the ultimate experience!

I played the first GTA... And the second, and the third... My amusement diminished as the realism increased. For some reason, I am not having fun when I am forced to choose the worst option out of many. By the fifth installment, I realized I don't appreciate the realism in gangster life anymore - too real, too much, too weird. I quit Farcry 5 as soon as the poaching started; I'm quitting GTA as soon as the torture started... Why on earth do I have to torture, can't I find any other way? Too real, too much... I'm going back to Ghost Recon :-)

Bought it on Feb 24, 2019 - after the latest patch so I haven't experienced any of the nightmare graphics issues. But what I saw when the game first loaded was something of a disappointment. The graphics were so bad that I almost fainted. Then I maxed everything out and to my surprise performance didn't suffer that much and the game looked decent enough.

But I still don't get it. JC3 was so awesome, what happened here? Why the change, it's literally a step back in so many levels.

I think the progression of taking over zones is a great idea implemented horribly. I think as an idea it holds more merit than the challenge based liberation of JC3 but man it's so convoluted that after 4 hours of gameplay, I still have no idea how it works.

The menus are very, very convoluted. Whomever designed the UX/UI for this game's progression & map mechanics should be tar'd and feathered. Please go see Ghost Recon Wildlands to learn how it's done properly. I am a computer programmer and a designer professionally and an avid gamer, if I cannot figure this out, nobody else can.... and I cannot, for the life of me, figure it out. The whole menu / sub menu - action, grappling customization is done so poorly so awkwardly that I cannot believe this is a Just Cause game. You folks literally went back to the drawing board with this. I wish you drew a lot more before launching this disaster.

Gameplay: Beh, it's a JC game and it plays fun. But, what is going on with the mechanics? It's like having god mode turned on. I touched a car by accident and it did a backflip. I wanted to talk to a civilian and ended up punching them instead. Something is off with the whole mechanics somewhere. I'm not kidding, the vehicle did a backflip! Just because I touched it. Everything is so fragile in this game - I shoot a fence and it falls over in two bullets.

The vehicles are so touchy feely. It's almost impossible to drive a vehicle joyfully. Cars are a nightmare to maneuver. Helicopters fly like they are rebelling against gravity.

And the AI, oh the AI. The NPCs are a joke. I watched an attack helicopter trying to line up its sights on me for 15 minutes - it was hopping around like a drunken UFO - not flying, hopping around...

Seriously folks, what the heck happened here?

Sorry. As a long time FarCry fanboy this tickles me in all the wrong places. I hate the mechanics, the driving around, the pillaging, the harvesting... But I took them all in stride and didn't mind the constant stupidities that is the AI in this game... But when I realized that there is no path forward unless I become a poacher (frickin' wallet has a limit!) I dropped this game.

So there is no other way but to go around simply kill rhinos, leopards, eagles for no other reason but to have a holster, a bigger backpack and carry more items? Are you out of your mind? I don't care what stupid story you made up - that is simply idiotic. Poaching required! That's what should be in the title of this game.

I don't mind when they attack me. But I can sneak around them. I can see them. I don't have to kill them / I shouldn't have to kill them - what kind of an open world game is this?

Go learn game mechanics from Ghost Recon (the entire series, including the first ones), Just Cause 2 & 3 and even frickin' Watchdogs 1 & 2!

Or better yet, go back to FarCry 2. That was by far the best far cry in the entire series. I'm not sure where you folks are going with these series - but it's not working out for me.

I don't want to play Far Cry 5 either. Bring back proper gameplay and stop imitating real life - we don't care about real life. We are already living in it!

I don't remember the last time I had this much fun with an early access VR game. Graphics are top-notch, controls are fun, the entire experience was pretty immersive. Kudos team - can't wait to see the full release of this title.
