I highly recommend this game.
With simple mechanics the game continues to stay fresh and imaginative, throwing new challenges and new enemies on a constant flow, every level that you traverse you face something new. The game will require good reflexes and a bit of a problem solving approach. And the more you pull it off and advance the more badass you feel playing Mr Shifty.

Gaming at it's finest, simple mechanics with lots of fun and franticness.

I did get 2 crashes, but so far nothing else to report and nothing drastic. Presentation is adequate, music is fitting. environments functional and breakable. The punches and teleportation carry weight. I can't take games which have punches that don't make an impact, this one does!

Early Access Review
For an adult indie title it's quite good. There's actual love put into the game. It has content and substance.
So many adult titles are copy a similar formula, this is the first ever racing adult game I've ever played (BMX XXX doesn't count). It's simple enjoyable fun.

- I'm probably too tired to find all the words at this time.
I'll revisit my review once I've progressed some more.

The weakest in the series, but can still be enjoyed with the right mind set and approach. Many true fans where disappointed, and understandably. As a stand alone game it's solid and easy to get into. I will always be grateful the fans where able to convince them to get David Bateson back for this title. I only wish they'd continue, I fear for the next game.

Beware this game is not for everyone.
I give it 6/10 and here's a few interesting things about it.

The game feels like a Halo 1 mod. The locations, the power armor, the weapons, most of it's design choices. You could pretend you where playing master chief and you'd feel somewhat at home.
There's a reason for this beyond the art style. It's because many of it's game resources where lifted or “stolen” from Halo 1. I've played Halo 1 for 5 years give or take and I've really got to know the game, it's physics, it's weapons, maps, everything.

Playing Orion: Prelude I saw a warhog, then I saw the exact same animation when you get off the turret. Then I saw animations from using the melee button from guns. You also realize for a new game it sure looks like it came out in 2001 same as Halo 1.

I had no idea this game was a kickstarter, and it's a perfect example why I've never supported a kickstarter and probably never will. (including paid Early Access).

The number of things they say in the Kickstarter and it ends up just all being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Even the in game shots look nothing like this game when you play it. Just watch the video and then compare it to screen shots and videos of the actual game. They promise things like a deep lore, etc. I'm sorry this is just a Horde mode game, and a easy one at that.

The game itself is lots of mindless fun, but so many other games do everything this one does better. There is no sense of challenge, you can easily go on a mountain and shoot all the dinosaurs out of range. You have many weapons and augmentations you can buy to make turn this game into Very easy mode even on medium settings. I can't say for the higher settings.

The game does lack polish. Things like getting stuck in graphics, warping dinosaurs, unpolished animations, etc. When I said it feels like it's a Halo 1 Mod, it sure does due to it's unfinished quality.

The creators are already on their sequel so I wouldn't expect this one to be polished, they probably learn that from EA games.

In itself the game can be lots of mindless fun, but don't expect anything amazing, just like a cheap mod, it's fun to try out, but rarely better then the original.

A few annoyances;
One thing I'd like to point out, you know how in Halo 1 the sniper rifle leaves a white trail, well in this all the bigger guns seem to, so after a while you only see cloud lines and not your target so well. Then you got rain on your screen, you know the dripping water, I was never a fan of this. And in this game it's constant. There are a number of things that make it harder to see your targets but it's mostly just annoying and pointless. Especially then it's raining on your screen in third person view.

I bought this game for 1$, I would be willing to pay up to 2$ but no more. If you want a good horde mode game I'd say Killing Floor tops this hands down.

This is the type of game you have fun messing around and shooting easy targets, but you'd probably never recommend it as anything worth wile. Not ♥♥♥♥, but not great.

People play this game and then wonder why they get their asses handed at them in other multiplayer games.

My biggest issue with this game is the next to none existent AI in the enemy units. The pretty much move towards you and shoot. All the excitement and stress comes from you trying to avoid getting overwhelmed. But if you stay calm and play well there is no sense of urgency or strategy.

It pains me when gamers enjoy games like there which are dumb unimaginative everyone runs in a straight line at you. Too be fair this formula can be well done. Take the same premise and for some reason Killing Floor succeeds with flying colors.

Perhaps it's just the gunplay that feels dull and the encounters. The reloading feel like an annoying mini game which I could do without. I admit it was a cool idea in gears of war, but I preferred it in Halo 1. If you hit the melee button just at the right moment when reloading your pistol if would reload slightly faster due to the different animation change, but at least it wouldn't Jam your whole gun and slow down the whole gun play just because you weren't paying enough attention to the little line on the screen syncing up instead of paying attention to the battlefield.

I always refer to FEAR 1's AI, just play that game and compare the AI of this game.

Yes the game looks good, it's sexy the controls are tight, the sound is decent. But personally I think it fails in the most important category. It's not all that fun.

I think the AI could be compared to Wolfenstein 3D, except Wolf3D actually has interesting maps with doors and mazes which keep the playing interested.

There are Many free to play games, and I'd recommend many others before I'd recommend this.

And the funny thing is the game is painted as fun with Zombies Monsters and Robots, but at the core it's pretty dull.

AvP is the 3rd installement and the weakest of it's game series. Suffering from balancing in Multiplayer and a few other problems this one falls short. Purchase at your risk.

Killing Floor is a very satisfying game, you couldn't imagine how fun killing mosters could be. Great atmosphere and Challenging. Popping Heads, slow motion kills and ragdolls flying away as they get wrecked.

It's free and it's great. It's worth giving it a try.
