What happens when you get crazy, 3v3 MVC style gameplay and put in Dragon Ball Z characters? You got yourself Dragon Ball FighterZ! This game is beautiful and you will be in awe of how accurate this game is to the manga/anime. Its great for anyone that loves fighting games or just Dragon Ball Z, and I mean EVERYONE. This game sets it up perfectly for anyone that isnt good in fighting games with an easy tutorial, and auto combos to assist you in battle. The game offers a Story, Arcade, Local Tournament, Practice/Tutorial and Online mode. Everything you need for a fighting game.

The gameplay which is key for a fighting game is good. It isnt the best thing but it entertains and has skill gaps in it. You'll tell if someone is using auto combos or acutal combos in this game. With Air combos, Assists, DHC, and OTGs it will be familiar if you have ever played a Marvel vs Capcom game.

The Sound and Graphics are great. It feels your are actually invovled with the anime/manga with the same sound effects, the same animations and such. ArcSys really got their research on this game. Matter of fact, in certain situations you can trigger actual moments in the show/manga. From Goku turning Super Sayain, to the defeat of Kid Buu with the spirit Ball.

The story mode is cool but this mode also is...tedious to say. It has a cool idea on how to progress but I didnt like the story that much and its REALLY long. You will put in 15-20 hours in the story alone, especially if you try to get evey cutscene done. Still, you'll get some laughs as they talk about a lot of "what ifs" and such.

In conclusion, this game is VERY good, and should be given a try RIGHT NOW! I give it a 9/10

Pretty Solid Open World RPG. A game that can become one of the best with community support

This game is fun as hell. Its combat is great and the music hypes up the battles. The story is very good but there is one big issue that can easily be fixed is that this is a HORRIBLE port. Im gonna reccommend this so people know this is a good game but hold on to your money. They are making an HD collection of DMC 1-3 on PC in March so get that instead!

So first things first, Im a big Metal Gear fan. In fact MGS3 is my favorite game of all time. Love the game to death. so when i first saw this game saying you play as "Big Boss" I was excited and when I saw that MG fans hate this game I was scared to play this game. Got the Definitive on sale for 20 dollars and I think this game is fun. Yeah the story is a bit weird but it fixes the issue on how "Big Boss" survived out of Outer Heaven. This game will keep you playing for quite a while. I thought I was done at 60 hours just to find out there is more chapters and I love how long this game is and how 'Big Boss" change over time. Probably my top 5 favorite Metal Gear game.

woo another Capcom that is hard to reccomend. now im a "Online Warrior" so im all about playing that rank mode and getting the highest rank. other words a competitive player. So if you can get passed the roster this game is fine. its fun to play and have a pretty good skill gap that ive seen.

In conclusion:

-Probably the most refreshing and probably the best gameplay in MvC history
-Good singleplayer content and online content

CONS
-Roster
-Shallow story
-weird art style


6/10 wait for more characters to come out or a sale.

UPDATE: DBFZ is out and sadly no one plays it. Get DBFZ until this game gets "Arcade Edition'd"

UPDATE**: After playing DBFZ for 100+ hours I still rather play this game then that. The mechanics that is in MVCI is very top notch and has one of the best gameplay in a fighting game ive seen in a while. With the power of PC you can make this game look so much better by editing the ini(search on YouTube on how to make it look better) and with awesome mods! Wait for a sale. Its a fun game!

♥♥♥♥ the Ice levels...

So I made a review of this game during Season 2 and said it was an okay game, wait for a sale. Now with Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, this game is worth it. If you buy this you get all of the season 1 and 2 characters free. Giving you roughly about 30 characters. This game offers a story mode, Arcade Mode which is the best way to do Arcade that ive seen in a fighting game. Online is really good and now is a good time since everyone got re-adjusted. The game has a lot more to offer than before. Recommend this game!

Its a fun game to play with friends but it can ruin friendships by hooking a friend or Icing them. A good game to play if youre bored. Not a game that will keep you playing though, 1 hour sessions type of game
