The story feels really short and it doesn't feel like a particularly big world although I had the same problem with borderlands 3. I guess that is the downside of having planets that you can visit. All that aside, the world you can visit is amazing, the story is really good and I think the side quests are well done, I enjoyed all of them.

This game isn't actually that bad. The tiered equipment and enemies is not a bad way of progresssing. The dungeons are good and until you get a complete set of 5 star gear, can be somewhat challenging at times. The game is really fun and there is a considerable amount to do.
That is until you finish everything in that region and have to move to the next region where you lose all your special items (boats, hang gliders etc) and all of you items are reverted to trash tier. You get to keep your items, they are stored in a separate tab for that specific region where they work and when you move back to the region you can use them again. For me, this completely removed my desire to carry on playing. I was progressing well and enjoying the game and then I'm punished for exploring, one of the key aspects of the game.

One of the best games ever, an amazing source of fun, entertainment and wasted hours. You say 1 hour more hour at 8 in the evening then 1 hour later, its 5 in the morning!
