Okay. So after about 800h and 2 years following the updates and changes i have some things to say. Not all bad and not all good.Sit down, have a drink and listen to what this nobody from the internet has to say about this game.


Firstly i would say that this game in its current state is meant almost a 100% for team players. Playing solo no matter how good you are will get you rekt and will leave you with a bleeding anus 9/10 times. Solo players live for that 1 time though where they wreck a clans day and leave them saltier than the Dead sea.

As for the system goes..... I dont know really. It changed alot in the last year. I quit when they released the XP system and came back like a week ago. Nothing will ever be as good as the old BP system.

If you are into base building then Rust is pretty much the best in that aspect. You can build pretty much whatever you want but in the end you will be offline raided by a clan with no problems at all. There are some smart people playing this game, i will tell you that.

If you are new to this than my advice and pretty much anyone elses who spent a couple hundred hours in this game is that DONT play on the official servers as they are full of hackers that are fine and ready to take your anus vaseline-free and leave it sore and red. Community servers are a bit better regarding hackers altough if you dont play on Rustafied, Rustopia or Rusty moose you will most likely suffer from a fatal disease called admin abuse which is spreading like a plague. If you do find a server that hasnt got any and can keep up high pop trough all of the wipe stick to it like ♥♥♥♥ on my toilet wall.

This game is not for casual players. If you cant play for atleast 40-50 hours a week you will not get to experince the game whole and will only play what we call "Early game" and maybe "mid game". Low tier weapons and people trying to hunt down farmers. You wont be able to be there when high lvl loot raids go down and see the cryies of a thousand man clans of 12 year old who type cyka or Turk amk in chat....

what made me stick to this game in the first place was the community in the begging which was nice and helpful. later that changed into KOSing 12 year olds that can barely speak english trough their 1€ microphones that they got in a 12 pack of dads beer.

If you have a decent computer you will be able to run this game as it was meant and the game looks absolutely stuning on Fantastic. If you are like me than you will most likely choose the Potato setting for that extra 10 FPS.

All in all i will say this game is worth buying for 20€. This game wasnt meant to be played 2 hrs a day every week or so. This game was meant to rack up hundreds of hours in a month or two. The only way you will enjoy playing it if you dont give up afer being killed 10 times on wipe day by a screaming kid with a spear.
