I've seen a lot of hate for this game, regarding the Abbey sections. I really enjoyed getting to know the back stories of all the hero's! The battle sequences themselves were also fantastic.
The gameplay has a fairly repetitive loop, but due to the vast amount of cards and hero's the play with, it doesn't ever feel stale.
The mysteries around the abbey weren't amazing, but I still found myself completing them to learn more about the lore.

Looking forward to the future content updates, being a Firaxis game, I'm sure we all have much more to look forward to!

A solid 8.5/10 for me!

Disclaimer: If you don't enjoy story games, and only want this game for the strategy element, it may not be as much of an enjoyable experience for you, but I definitely recommend it.
