I've just had a last check with all my addons enabled and can testify to your rightness. Yup, physgun build mode is safe, I'm stumped. I don't understand how I got that wrong. I'll definitely see that tomorrow.

I've never have had that. Just disabled the addon and went into sandbox. Nowhere to be seen in the Utilities tab. My version is the following, provided with the "version" command : Exe version 16.12.01 (garrysmod)

Physgun buildmode is under utilities tab. It's part of base GMod 13

I wish it was part of it, but it's not. You're probably seeing such a tab because you have downloaded the addon or have another one of these "fixed" (could be the root of the problem, eh) physgun build mode. I'll look into it tomorrow and keep you updated.

I downloaded Physgun Buildmode and still haven't run into the issues you have. If it's breaking your game, however, you can just remove it anyways, since physgun buildmode is part of GMod 13 by default, under Utilities
