I certainly recommend this game, but I'm afraid my actual review could come off as a negative one due to the issues that come with this release.
First, the good: This is certainly Koei Tecmo's year with many fun games. And Ninja Gaiden 2 Black certainly plays extremely well, without a fuss on a 4060Ti. And the updated graphics certainly gives a nice new shine to a beloved classic.

Now, the bad: Those who've played the original Xbox 360 version will find it very disappointing as once again this is not Ninja Gaiden 2 and pretty much Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 in UE5...with even lesser costumes. Some gameplay content missing as well, though personally I won't be missing those two bosses. The real bummer is there's nothing new given in lieu of the cut content.

And yet I would still say get this game particularly, if you're new to Ninja Gaiden... However, I highly recommend you get it when it's on sale with a big discount. For a much lower price you can grab the Ninja Gaiden Master Collection which has all three games including this one- with more content.
