I tried to enjoy this game but games are often unbalanced, you ether stomp the whole game or getting stomped the whole game.
Also CCP Censorship goes crazy, you can't even writhe "the pooh" in chat. Because communist China leader doesn't like it.

Dark and Darker desperately needs a gear rebalance. Right now, the gap between players with full legendary gear and those of us with simple green gear is ridiculous. You jump into a match, only to get destroyed by walking tanks who soak up damage like sponges and kill you in one hit. It's like being level 5 in Call of Duty and getting tossed against level 900 veterans with every weapon and perk unlocked. It's frustrating, and it's the same reason I don't play that kind of nonsense.

But you know what really bothers me? In the early beta, when Dark and Darker first released on Steam (before the Nexon takedown), there was a ring that closed in, forcing players to rotate. It added real tension and strategy to the game, encouraging constant movement and positioning. Now, that feature is gone, and it feels like a huge step back.

Back then, the time-to-kill was balanced across the board, and new players could pick it up without feeling outmatched just because they didn’t have top-tier gear. Maybe it's nostalgia, but back then, it felt like skill mattered more than the 'meta' or gear checks. I just want that magic back, because now it feels more like a grind fest for loot than a truly fun experience.

If you're a Rust fan you might enjoy this game more but PvPvE is just not my thing at least not in this survival concept.
The clunky combat and the fact that you die from running for too long or from bleed damage running trough an ivy bush kinda turned me off.
Also the fact you don't spawn at the same place and don't see your friends on the map in a friends only server is kind of stupid making it difficult playing with friends. (had to stream my game on Discord just to meet up)
I think like most early access games people over-hype them at the start because of streamers like Shroud playing it, and then the game dies in a month once the hype is over or another game comes out.

Bought this just to say that I have a very deep disappointment that Sony banned this game from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia because of Russian influence on Asia. Corporate Japan still sees the Baltic States as part of ruzzia. And it makes me shudder out of disgust.

I'm a day one player, they ruined the game by adding role lock ranked and removing free role ranked. Now they added the free role ranked back but kept the role locked one too. You need to win 5 games to get the rank for each role or lose 60 games in total. The players are still one trick trash and can't switch when the enemy team counters our legends. There are also too many legends to chose from and some legends are overpowered in specific maps that you can't chose to not play. You are still forced to play a map that you don't like and where the enemy Lucio can boop you off the map constantly or Genji one click delete your whole team. And of course now you have locked legends that are broken and after OW1 died the coins you had for legendarily skins are now useless for any new skin because they made them "Legacy" Coins that are completely useless as you need the new coins to buy any new skins. If you buy the battle pass you will not get the coins back like in Apex Legends so you're forced to buy a new battle pass each season. Oh and ♥♥♥♥ blizzard they are completely not listening to their player base and ruining the game further.

TLDR: Nothing changed from the dead game that is Overwatch 1, they just changed it from 6v6 to 5v5 because the Q times were over 30 minutes now it's 25 minutes, and they added the battle pass that you need to buy each season.

Edit: So the game director responded to the steam reviews and this is what he said “This means more maps, heroes, game modes, missions, stories, events, cool cosmetics, and features – an ever-expanding, evolving, and improving game. This is the future of Overwatch." I think adding more heroes will actually hurt the game in the long run, as it gets harder and harder to balance, and for the players to learn tactics on how to counter each and every one of them. It's already over complicated to learn all the legends not to mention how to counter them. A game has to be fun for new players to "jump in" and play. Constantly getting dominated by long time players who invested 3000 hours learning every legend and every nook and cranny of the every map is not fun when you only play 2 hours a week. It was much more fun when the legend pool was limited and it was an open Q with 2-2-2 lock ins.

The beginning of the game definitely felt bland, but once you get past that there's plenty to do it just doesn't feel as polished and well put together as Stardew Valley. But ignoring that, if on sale and if you have friends to play it with, it's way worth it if you enjoy farming/dating sim + RPG games.

It's fun but add more electricity things. Love the solar panels and batteries but there's not much you can do with them.

This is everything you can ask for in a game that makes you feel like an anime protagonist.
