Town of Salem is a great game, but this expansion is really bad. Gameplay is too chaotic and doesn't flow well. There are too many roles, and a lot of them are extremely powerful, which causes games to end quickly. The process of deduction that made Town of Salem great was almost completely lost in the Coven expansion. It's so bad that most of the playerbase still remains on vanilla ToS, rather than playing the expansion.

Stick to vanilla ToS and use your $5 to buy character skins or pets.
