Even though the developers reaction to problems (for example: bugs, overpowered perks/items, ...) is slow and it ~sometimes~ feels like they don't actually play their own game, the game offers really great and fun events, has a nice skill ceiling and can be fun overall. In my opinion, playing the surviving role with friends (rather than on your own) is recommended because playing alone can often be really frustrating and underwhelming.
