The epitome of the mechanics defining the entire game. Everything about the way your character moves and behaves is perfect.

I think this came out of the first HIB I bought, so I thought there may be a bit of nostalgia here, but after playing it again recently it's an excellent breakout-style game with a lot of new features.

Edit: still good in 2022, even if I haven't played much more of it.

I only bought this game to play with friends, and my friends and I never finished a full game. I think the enjoyable portion of the game is in building up, planning, and exploration. After everything's revealed it becomes a bit of a slog.

I was surprised how much I liked this. Essentially just a 10-hour south park episode. On the hardest difficulty, the curve was perfect: I only died to one boss in the mid game, but I still had to choose my targets and perform my time events properly to proceed.

This is a game you want to watch, not play. Look up all of the endings on youtube and don't waste your time.

Someone got mad at me for reviewing this poorly before, so I deleted the review.

I found the music, colours, and pulsing pretty annoying.

In 2022, 8 years after I first got the game, I still do.

I started playing this game a few years ago, and while it's fun with friends, without someone there to explain the metagame to me it's hard to want to play it by yourself. I can't imagine it's gotten any less complicated since then.

I've played this countless times, and I have hundreds more hours on tAPI and eventually tmodloader, which now has official steam support.

I have no doubts that in another year or two I'll have an itch that only terrraria can scratch, and I'll load up a new set of mods and have a brand-new playthrough.
