Currently playing through the campaign of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), and I’m blown away by how incredible the implementation of DTS:X / Atmos Spatial sound and HDR is. The height effects in the audio are phenomenal—sounds feel like they’re coming from everywhere, fully immersing you in the action. The HDR setup is seamless, with no fuss needed to get stunning visuals.

Honestly, I’m shocked at how well this game’s tech has aged—it’s still setting a high bar for audio-visual quality even five years after release. If you’re a fan of immersive gaming experiences, this is a must-play!

As a Gen X gamer returning to the Metroidvania genre since Symphony of the Night in the 90's, I found Blasphemous 2 reminiscent and thoroughly enjoyable. Its accessibility struck a perfect balance, offering challenge without being overly difficult. The map marking feature was a lifesaver, aiding navigation significantly.

The graphics were excellent, although a touch more color depth with native HDR support would have been appreciated—I relied on Windows AutoHDR. The music was great, though occasionally it stopped playing. Sound effects were impactful, especially on a home theater setup.

Playing with an Xbox controller felt natural, and while I couldn't follow the story well, it didn't detract from my enjoyment. Perhaps playing the first game would have helped in that regard.

After 40 hours, I achieved 97% completion and explored 99% of the map, experiencing both Ending A and B. I'm more than satisfied and eager to support the developers by purchasing the first game and any future releases in the series.

Many thanks to the developers for crafting such an engaging experience.

Wow, Doom Eternal Delivers! I rarely ever pay full price for a single player game and pre-ordering the deluxe package was 100% worth it. This was the perfect pandemic launch game

Pros
- Super Polished Triple A Feel
- Graphics and Art Design that will blow you away. I kept stopping to take screenshots
- Perfect Ultra-wide 21:9 support at 3840x1600
- Vulcan powered engine that ran 120 FPS 100% stable
- Great new variety added to the Doom Slayer's attacks - Grenades, Fire, & Sword
- Great level design, sound / music, and a servicable story
- Played about 25 hours and eagerly awaiting the expansions. I played in small chunks of time

Cons
- Multiplayer is meh - I played once and never came back
- The gameplay isnt revolutionary. Walk around map look for the secret locations enter a room full of monsters and move on....
- Not much interaction or phsyics interaction with the environments

Whether you are an old school gamer like myself or not, you will love this version of Doom

Disclosure - I wanted to but never got into playing 2033 even though I own both versions. I forced myself to get into this one playing the Spartan Mode

Overall, I'm glad that I played it. I believe the game really gets better as it goes along. The 2nd half of the game kept me very engaged.

Excited to play Exodus!

Pro's
* Good graphics despite it being an older game - Easily fully maxed out at over 100 fps
* Physx support
* Nice Ultrawide Support 21:9 - I played at 3840x1600
* Good Story - You dont have to play 2033 first to get into it.
* Moral Decisions made impact the ending
* Stable no crashes
* Benchmark included
* A few great set pieces. Battles, cities, towns
* Interesting adult encounters

Cons
* Weapon selection is so so - Once I found some guns I like, I didnt really feel compelled to change them.
* The game started slow for me and I had a hard time staying interested, until almost the half way point
* Music isnt memorable
* A lot of repeat character skins
* Character models (especially the faces are dated)

For the price that you can get this game now a days, I recommend Last Light for an interesting 10 hour single player experience. Its not the best, but its worth playing

Overall Recommended - I got it for $15 and was worth it. Not as good as the other recent Wolf games. They tried to make it a destiny lite / shadow warrior 2 game and I preferred the more straight forward story approach of the other ones

Pro's
- Great Graphics - Ran everything completely maxed out
- Awesome RTX implementation
- 21:9 Ultrawide Support and super high frame rates
- Good Gunplay
- Co-Op and it includes a free-copy for a buddy
- Decent Play time

Con's
- The graphics for people's hair is super weird. You have to see it to understand.
- Very repetitive levels. There arent many levels and you get sent to the same places over and over to do fetch quests
- The main protagonists arent as interesting as BJ
- Some of the controls dont feel quite right - Like turning on dual wielding always feels akward to enable.
- The pistol is super weak and it shares the same weapon key as the ultra powerful uzi
- They do an awful job of introducing the story to the player. The first two levels seem a bit out of order. I almost dropped the game, but I'm glad that I stuck through it

WOW, Great game. Well worth $10 bucks

If you grew up playing Rad Racer on the NES, Outrun on Sega, or Top Gear on Snes / Genesis, you will love this.

Exceeded my expectations!

Pros
* Awesome Graphics
* Ultrawide & 21:9 Support
* High Frames - I capped mine at 100
* Track Creativity & Variety
* Easy to pick up but has scalability in the challenge
* Good Music - Pretty sure one of the songs comes straight from Top Gear
* Keyboard or Xbox Controllers work fine

Con
* Rumble Feature didnt work for me. It was enabled but didnt work on my Xbox One controller

Review for the Redux Version of the game

Overall this is a worthy play if you like good graphics, an interesting story, and need a break from FPS with Machine Guns and Rocket Launchers. Worth about $10 to $15 imo....

Pro's
* Great Graphics and Atmosphere
* Great 21:9 Ultra-wide presentation
* Runs Very well. Had to cap my framerate because I was pushing over 200 fps
* Interesting story
* No hand holding - You start the story and three are no training wheels on what to do from there
* Achievements are reasonable. I got all but one.

Con's
* Short Game - Most people will finish it in around 5 hours I would assume.
* The story is interesting but it isnt mindblowing or truly shocking. Most people will have a good assumption about what is generally going on.
* There is a section where jump scares happen. Not a fan of that, but some will love it

Very mediocre game (based on today's standards)

Random Thoughts
* Duke Nukem inclusion was fun but overall uninspired
* Definitely feels like an Xbox 360 game circa 2010. Has that Dude Bro vibe / Gears of War Feel
* Worst Running annimations of all time. The head bobbing is awful and jerky.
* Despite having over 150 fps, the game didnt feel smooth
* The Leash mechanic is fun, but doesnt evolve enough as the game progresses
* 21:9 Ultrawide Screen functions fine

You can do worse for your time and money. Rating 5 out of 10

Just completed this at 100%. Good Fun!

Description:
- Combination of Shadow Warrior 2013, Borderlands, and Diablo

Pro's
- Great graphics and performance
- Great 21:9 Ultra wide support
- Nice enemy selection
- Nice weapon selection
- Free DLC adds to the game
- Good Humor

Neutral
- I'm not really into the weapon perks and managing all of that

Cons
- Game length - I got 23 hours of gameplay for one play through but that includes the DLC
- Very repetative gameplay
- The banter between the characters got a bit old sometimes. Very negative and juenvile. I listed the comedy as a "pro", but it did sometimes get a bit much
- The upgrade and skill system wasnt super easy to navigate and understand how your character strength was impacted

Overall, I had a great time with this game. Many years ago, I played Shadow Warrior 2013 and didnt really get into it. Obviously part 2 hooked me in for one solid play through.
