Its the best parts of Minecraft, Tererria and like old school Open world RPG all in one. I dont know really how to explain it. If you are the type of person who enjoys winning RTS by expanding your base from one end of the map to the other, than you'll love this game as much as I do.

Awesome game!

This game is amazing. Let me start with that.

This game made me rethink and relearn how to play a RTS and I love it for that reason. This game is extremely easy to pick up and play. There is no "tutorial" to speak of, but the game has all of the RTS core elements. Learning the difference between the 2 types of currency, single use/renewable (gold/wood/stone) and reusable (workers/food/energy) took a bit longer than I would have liked it to, but aside from that... I feel like it was easy enough to pick up, learn and develop a strategy.

But there is really only 1 way to play They Are Billions and that's aggressively. If you are the type who likes to sir around and gather resources over time, this game is not for you. This game gets harder as the days progress. This game forces you to advance at a rate that I was not familiar with. Basically, if you float on resources, you'll probably die. If you sit back and let the game play itself, you'll probably die. One of the best pieces of advice I can give anyone playing this or struggling with beating levels, is to build an army and clear the map. Everything left on the map joins the last wave if they are left up before it comes. If nothing else, you have to clear the map. This game does not want you to afk/play.

I put 100 hours into this game without even blinking an eye. It's challenging, fun, addictive. I simply cannot wait for the campaign mode in the summer.
