The season pass, in it's current form, adds little to the game. Oh, it adds planetary landings all right, but this is (at this moment in time) really not that fun - land on a planet, drive around in a buggy (no choice in buggies nor customization of said buggies), shoot some rocks and occasionally shoot a flying turret... thingy. That's it. It's pretty, yes, but completely lacks any depth or actual things to do.

That said, the current planetary landings seem to be a "framework" for future content. What that content might be? Well, from the description it SHOULD be interesting, but until it's actually available I cannot recommend this purchase.

PS. I DO however need to commend Frontier for making Horizons a DLC, as it should have been from the start, rather than a separate entitiy. While my overall recommendation of the Horizons Season Pass hasn't changed, it's good to see the thing treated like DLC and named appropriately.

EDIT (11.11.2018):
E:D is getting more and more stuff in it. A lot of the mechanics have been refined to give a far more enjoyable experience. These things include alien sites and ancient ruins to explore.

I still feel, however, that the DLC is marely a framework for more content, as the core experience (i.e. land, drive around) hasn't changed all that much nor has been expanded upon beyond those specific examples listed above.

Awesome little puzzle game. Great for that bit of downtime when you just want to relax and engage your brain cells a little bit. Plus the price is just awesome!

It is a bit short, but for this price, I cannot complain.

A classic "hacker" game. Possibly one of the best out there! Definitely worth playing.

Seriously... why am I writing a review of Portal? This game doesn't need it. It's widely accepted as a great game. Why do I need to write a review for it?

Does anyone REALLY need a recommendation for Portal?

A superb brain-twisting puzzle-platformer with a really well designed time mechanic... Actually, time MECHANICS - as there's more than one.

The story's a bit weird, but the puzzles are just lovely.

The closet ending was my favourite.

No, I cannot tell you what the Stanley Parable is, or why you should play it. But you should play it.

Super cute adventure game, with nice graphics, awesome music and a story... well, the story is rather simple, but fun anyway!

Definitely worth playing.

Early Access Review
You know... I started playing Space Engineers when all you could do was make a spaceship and fly around near some asteroids. Possibly mine a bit.

And it was awesome then.

Now you can land on freaking planets!

I only wish the game worked a bit better - despite having a medium system, the FPS (especially on planets) is really low. :(

Early Access Review
Horizons is technically and visually impressive, but there is currently no content to justify the price tag. Land on a planet, drive around, shoot some rocks, and occasionally shoot a flying turret thingy. Pretty, but gets boring fast.

Get the vanilla Elite: Dangerous (if you don't already have it). Otherwise wait until Frontier actually add a game to the technical framework they've created. I'll happily change this review once content is added which justifies the price tag. Also trust me when I write - I WANT to change this review.

PS. The entire Horizons pricing and release model is an utter disaster. Firstly, Horizons HAS been OFFICIALLY released on the official Frontier store - why is it Early Access on Steam (the beta is over)? So... is this a Season Pass? If so, again, why is this sold as an Early Access title? Also, why is it so expensive if this is a Season Pass? Why is this sold as a separate title from Elite: Dangerous (most games offer expansions as DLC). There are so many things wrong with this model I don't even know which part of it I should be most angry with.
