This game was a lot shorter than I expected, but that might've been caused by the average cut scene being approximately 30 seconds long. I guess the game was aware that the story is superficial and boring as ♥♥♥♥, so the focus of the game lies completely on gameplay mechanics. The combat still feels a little janky at first but very much improves throughout the game.

defensive ai doesn't understand zone assignments, offensive ai doesn't understand blocking assignments, you gotta play around the game, not with it, actually trying to apply practical football knowledge is detrimental more often than not, but it's madden what do you expect

I'm only playing this ♥♥♥♥ because I have a crippling addiction to football and madden's the only choice degenerates like me have

just finished vanilla KOTOR 2 and it was... fine.

the vanilla version of the game really is buggy as hell, to the point where I had to to quick save and quick load after literally every single fight on some planets

the story was convoluted at best and sometimes straight up nonsensical, but I don't know in what way that was influenced by me role-playing an annoying goody two shoes

and my character must've really annoying, because by the end of my playthrough most of my crew absolutely hated my guts. sometimes I had no clue why, they just wouldn't want to talk to me anymore

all in all, I enjoyed my 40 hours with the game, some of the quests and characters were neat and it's just plain ol' fun to bulldoze through baddies with a light saber, but I don't think I'll revisit the game or its predecessor anytime soon

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rules.

On its surface, it's arcady enough to not be too intimidating for people who either have never played a baseball game or might not even know that much about the sport itself. But as soon as you crank up the difficulty it gets a lot more demanding and complex, to the point where it's definitely the best baseball game you can get on PC.

You can even mod in MLB teams and as soon as you do that it just blows RBI baseball completely out of the water.

My only complaints are the sometimes pretty damn wonky fielding mechanics and that pickoffs aren't in the game.

I just finished the main story of Fallout 4 (DAE le fallout bore?? xD) after around 60 hours and so obviously some spoilers ahead:

I chose to side with the Railroad because the way I saw it the whole situation was a very thinly veiled slavery allegory with the Institute basically producing slaves. The whole "Oh they're not *really* sentient, they just super duper believe they are!" thing also didn't exactly help and reminded me of some of the junk science about black people that went around during slavery in the United States.

The Brotherhood wanted to destroy the Synths, so in my mind I had to chose between

a) freeing slaves

b) supporting slavery and actively enslaving more people

c) killing slaves

So yeah, chose to stick to the railroad, was rewarded with two big explosions that were pretty cool and just in general had a pretty good time.

I didn't have any big problems with the writing and thought that the dialogue wheel usually painted a pretty clear picture of what was going to be said. Just the quality of the "sarcastic" lines varied pretty wildly. Sometimes they'd be legitimately funny one-liners and sometimes they'd be so awkward and unfunny that your average 9 year old would probably recoil and cringe.

Now I just have some more places on that map that I want to explore and settlement simulator 2k15 to take care off. All in all a really fun experience, would recommend.
