This is the scariest game I've ever played. I actually had to take breaks just to let the heart pounding taper down a bit.
If you watch any "Let's Play" videos, don't over do it, or you'll numb the experience. This one is best played fresh. And, you will, of course, get *used* to the alien after a while, but do cherish the terror. No game will instill it in you quite like this.

Graphics: are fantastic on my crappy old GT 560.
The sound: ...the sound MAKES this game. If you play in a building with another story above you, the thudding of someone walking around above will never be the same after you play this.
The story: They found a clever hole in the original Alien film, and expounded on it. Very nice.
Gameplay: There's some quirky console controle stuff in this game, but it's really minor. Full of typical game plot tropes, like "go get this thing, but then realize you have to get this other thing to get the first thing..." but I didn't mind. Savor the terror and you should be "ok". Some of the puzzles take a moment and some observation (wich always comes at a risk), but they aren't terribly hard. That said, this game is pretty hard. The AI is incredibly unpredictable. You don't realize it until your veteran-gamer blood expects some kind of routine and doesn't get it. You can reload your game a few times at a checkpoint and it won't do the same thing every time. Oh, and it will learn. Don't repeat the same tricks ;) Don't say I didn't warn you.

Summary: 10/10 -you should play this game. Not for the impatient.
