The Forest is one of the rare games that achieve the ideal effects of Early Access function.
Unlike many dead projects and ideas, the developers set deadlines and time frame for updates.

With each updates, more contents are added and bugs are fixed. When it first started, the forest, as a game, was small and had very limited content. Now, the game has been developed to a state where it can sell as a non-Early-Access game, and I'd have no complaints at all.

The Forest is a complete game. There are stories to follow, objectives to do, places to explore, things to collect and craft, and so on. Graphics are beautiful; Top-tier for Unity engine. Physics are there and working perfectly. Survival aspects make sense. Crafting is enjoyable and simple to learn. Atmosphere is impeccable.

If you are wondering whether you should buy the game or not, buy it. Do not be scared by the long development time and the Early-access title. You are getting a fully functioning game, and it is a very very good one.

1.0 is here!! Cheers to developers for keep the price low and still improving the game through regular patches.

10/10, as everyone else said, Early-access done right.

If you haven't bought the game, I'd suggest you turn around and look for other games.
PUBG is a very popular game; Perhaps that's the reason why you are here.

Months ago I'd recommend this game to anyone I know. Now I can't due to the following reasons:
1. Horrible optimization. Months ago, it was acceptable as an fresh-released early access game. However, at this stage, I do not agree that it is acceptable to have the same problems existing for so long.
---1.1. Still horrid after all the updates. Registration is ♥♥♥♥.

2. Cheating. Battle-eye didn't stop the hackers. Report didn't seem to work. Top leaderboards are occupied by hackers alone. Every SINGLE match you enter will very likely be filled with cheaters.
---2.1. Personally, I think this is due to the microtransaction of in-game cosmetics items. As you win/kill in this game, you earn credits. Thus, hacking is actually profitable.
---2.2. Developers did not react rapid enough and the situation is not controlled quickly.
---2.3. Report does not work.
---2.4. There are Chinese selling hacks in the lobby for basically every rounds.

3. Microtransactions. As mentioned. Honestly I think it's better off for PUBG(and all other games) to ditch the market.

4. Developers.
---4.1. Absolutely horrendous marketing strategy to attack your competitor directly in media, let alone it's the company that provided you with the game engine.
---4.2. Banning people because of twitch streamers said they were "stream-sniped". With no concrete source of evidence, this is unfair to all players. Moreover, even if it is the case of mentioned, streamers take the risk to show everything on their screen. It is of their own responsibility to bear the consequences.

PUBG was a fun game a long time ago. I would play it with all my friends, online and in real-life. Every matches were fun and enjoyable. Sometimes you even get to know new ppl who randomly joined your team.

That game we once liked is now mostly gone.
I sincerely hope the development will turn its directions and head somewhere better, coz right now it's sailing towards an iceberg that sank many good ideas.

GTA Vice City is a game in which u could just drive around the city, listen to the best hits of 80s and realize u don't want to stop.

Story is simply amazing. Many reference to Scareface, but also got its own personalities. And there are tons of things to do and explore apart from main quests.

Sure the graphics is a bit old for today's standard. But if u look beyond that, u will find Vice City offers u a beautiful miami in 80s. Imo, it is the best theme/background among all GTA.

I hv never played the pre-reforge edition. I picked this during sale and I find it pretty good overall.

There are tons of things to do in Viking Conquest. New systems gives new gameplay aspects.
Also, u get a storyline with choices and characters with personalities.
If u don't like the storyline, u always can go to the "Nah, I'm just gonna do whatever I want."

Technical wise, I hv not encounter any bugs during my gameplay.

Graphics are good. Probably the best we can get until Bannerlord comes out.

Overall a good addition. Price is a bit high imo, pick it during sale.

Everyday, we stray further from god.
Now I feel the touch of divines. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Thx to this game, I'm going to burn in multiple hells of different religions simultaneously in afterlife.
Welp, at least I have some great fun from this game.

At current state the game is quite enjoyable. U will hv some lols during gameplay. Good-old-arcade mode with many difficulties is included, and plenty costumes to unlock. And like an arcade game, u can let a player 2 join and fight u locally. (Wish there was multiplayer as well, u know, for try-hard/hv-fun/trololo)

In terms of gameplay, this is a standard fighting game with proper combos.(except Moses, Moses is OP) And every...gods..uh...characters have their own unique style of combat.

Storyline is...lame...just lame...I'd rather it be "Kids with different religions praying to gods to let them win spelling-bee".

Voice-acting is not exactly gud, u can hear the Chinese accent. But generally acceptable, and mostly unnoticeable when u start spamming holy attacks.

Textures and models can definitely be improved a lot. I know it's Unity, but hey...it could be better. Also, some facial animations would be very decent addition.

Despite some niche that I personally not quite satisfied with, I do enjoy the game. And for its current price? Definitely a good purchase.

Hope to see more improvements and expansions soon! Keep up the good work devs!

Things you will start to hate after playing DiRT Rally:
1. Audience (Group B racers, I salute you)
2. Snow and Ice
3. Rocks/stone (I'm speaking to you, German tracks)
4. Retardly-parked invincible cars (srsly, get them off the track)
5. Trees
6. Anything else that stops you from cutting a corner (Don't cut? That's where you're wrong kiddo)
7. Crusts, especially in Finland. (Finland, y u do dis?)
8. Your Co-Driver and his awfully written pacenotes, especially when you are in Finland. (You gonna shout "That's NOT a right 4 u a**!!! THAT'S A 2 FFS", I gurantee it.)
9. Yourself

Overall a hardcore racing game that pushes you to your limit.
After some rage and frustration, it will be fun while still being challenging.

If you are new to Arma series, be aware that this game has a steep learning curve. You will die, lose, teamkill, and get teamkilled a lot.
There's 0 balance in Argo; the fittest surives.

Argo also includes PvE mode for you and your friends, as well as a editor to mess around. Overall, see it as a online+f2p+a bit waterdowned version of Arma 3. (Welp at least you don't have to worry about a pro pilot killing u with a heli while barrelrolling)

For those you have played Arma and have a average amount of relevant knowledge:
Just board the rekt train
And try to balance the team a bit by joining side that are weaker; New comers gonna need your help.

Lastly, at this moment, the game has horrible stability. (as of 25/6/2017) At its worst, you could shower a whole magazine on someone and they won't die. Hopefully it will be better in the future through updates/server improvements.

Don't get me wrong, I like Rainbow Six Siege and I do understand why they make the hard decision from the perspective of a business.
But sorry Ubisoft, I will have to NOT recommend this. And I got 0 hate towards you.

However, when you sell something and don't deliever on time (even if you will deliever it eventually), you break your promise to the consumers.

DO remember that time is a cost. By delaying 3 months, we will have fewer months to enjoy the new operators. In other words, we lost 3 months of time to play the new contents as opposed to what was promised to us when they started selling the season pass. (No it's not about the maps)

I can see other better ways to implement the procedures without ruining the company's reputation in a general sense. (say, making the decision prior the sales of Yr2 pass, implement changes during the operations, etc.) Yet I am not inside the company, so I don't know what exactly stops them from making other non-players-upsetting decisions.

Nevertheless, it is very upsetting to see Ubisoft doing this to its customers.

Again, I do not write this because of hate but the dismay of how the buyers of season pass suffered.

If you are a RO2/RS1 veteran than you can skip the following parts——Welcome back/RS2 is worth your money/You know what to do(mostly)


If you are new to the franchise, then you probably wanna know:

Rising Storm 2 is a hardcore realistic shooter. You will die, a lot, before u learn the basics of the game. You will die from bullets out of nowhere, napalm, mortar, flamethrower, RPG backblast, etc etc. There's no HP bar or some auto-recovery ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
To put it simple: You get hit, you die. (most of the time) (if u somehow survived u hv to use ur bandages)
You will soon learn why you should keep ur head down and ur body low.

The game is balanced. From a certain aspect, it even ditched the weapon upgrades unlock from RO2/RS1. Everyone gets to use the same weapons. unlike Battlefield

Teamplay is a major part of the game. A good commander with good squad leaders can be all the difference between a win and a lose. In a sense, the system is similar to that of BF2, although with much more to offer. If you are new to the game, please do everyone a favor: watch and learn.

RS2 is a realistic balanced PTSD simulator with a very steep learning curve. With the new Vietnam theme, introduction of new elements sparks new tactics and strategies to explore.
8.5/10 Worth to buy if you like war history and enjoy a decent FPS with a heavy stress on teamwork.

TL;DR: NieR is a masterpiece that takes you on a emotional rollercoaster with its wonderful story, characters, level designs, gameplay, fan service, butt, cleavage and soundtracks.
If you truly love videogaming, you will love NieR:Automata.

The game does not end with your first 'playthrough'. The whole story would takes more than 30hrs (with side quests)(coz side quests are worth-to-do). The worldview and the story just keeps on building rapidly during your second and third playthrough. After finishing the whole game and drop a few tears, you would probably start thinking about some deep topics for a few days.

Gameplay-wise, the game combines action as well as a lot of arcade elements, which to me, is very refreshing. However the forced-2D vision in some area of the game can be restrictive and bothersome, while in some area it works briliantly.

NieR also provide deep customizations of characters' abilities (as in the form of plug-in chips) (Hey! the game even allows you to have more chip capacity by uninstalling HUD!). With a well-designed UI and quick access, each battle can be different and very enjoyable.

In terms of graphics, overall, the game is like a beautiful painting you would want to place it at your dining hall. But for some area, the lack of details in some large area does makes the game looks mundane sometimes. Nonetheless, many areas combining with the fitting soundtrack will change your mood accordingly.

Character design, well...nothing says more than "all google image results of "2b" is 2b from NieR". Other than appearance, each character's personality is memorable. You will feel attached to each of them. and smile and cry a lot to their fate and words

Lastly, some words of advise: don't farm so much. The game can become almost challenge-free even on hard if you farm too hard. (Unless you play on very hard, where you die in 1 hit)
FINISH [bold]THE WHOLE GAME[/bold], NOT JUST 1 PLAYTHROUGH.
Gamepad recommended.
And prepare a tissue box. You will need it.

Overall, 9/10 (-1 for BAD port and BAD optimization)

Recommendation: You can buy at full price; you won't be disappointed. However, imo, waiting for sale is also an option, as Day One Edition bonus really isn't much.
