Lore gives everything purpose, there's no weird stragglers. Imaginative Fauna. Curious cultures. Large variation in weapon/weapon types. Fair few interesting mechanics. Some interesting puzzles (although how she immediately realised those were times from a clock or degrees of a circle is beyond me). Weird biome layout but devs gave logical story-based reasoning behind that. Janky-LEGO-game parkour mechanics but that's ok with me. Amazing story, legit can't wait for the continuation's release on Steam/PC, will 100% be buying that too.

I love this DLC. It was my first DLC and it was Funcom's first. I use it's content all the time. However, I have a complaint; they, at some point, removed the throwing axes and javelins. They have also done this for the Savage Frontier pack. On the surface, it may not seem like an issue that would make this a negative review. However, if thought about, one will realize that all DLCs before Siptah has only ever had content removed from it, and never anything added beyond its initial release. The throwing axes and javelins had unique models and last I knew on-par with the iron/epic grade respectively. So why remove them? Wouldn't you only want to add things to previous DLCs to make them more desirable to purchase? The Riders of Hyboria pack, for example, has a horse saddle for each DLC that came before it. Each saddle representing a set of human armour from that pack. Then why wouldn't you go back to those DLCs and give them the other two horse armours to complete the set and make the previous DLCs a little bit more desireable?

Early Access Review
I love this expansion, but at the same time I really, really, really dislike it. If this was the standard 1-5 star rating system I'd have it at a solid three because of this confliction. But because Steam doesn't have a neutral option I'll choose the negative, because I always find myself reading more negative reviews than positive ones.. First things first, Funcom said that all of their DLCs for this game would be cosmetic. This DLC adds ride-able rhinos, I wouldn't be against this if they added it in the base game. A much less noticed thing that severely bugs me: the slave bracelet (Luckily there is a mod to fix this, however it is annoying that it isn't a base option). The lore states that anyone wearing a slave bracelet beyond The Wall would "be a pile of exploding guts"-Staff of the Triumvirate (Yes I just quoted the base game, I love this game). The last things I am going to complain about in this DLC is what isn't in it. This includes the decorations and weapons. So, like their other DLCs they added light, medium, and heavy armour sets and a, no two building sets. For some reason they thought that the only slaveforged weapons should be legendary (even though the armour is on par with other sets in game), with update 2.3 they sorta fixed this. 2.3 added slaveforged themed armours that are legendary, yet not a complete set, which would be nice to have. Amongst my complaining you can find the reasons that I love this expansion, so I need not to go over them, other than the map itself. I left this out of my complaints because I have found nothing to complain about, it's beautiful. and nothing else could describe it well.

Literally Terraria but with the addition of the amazing community's love and care. tModLoader has been something I used long before it's release on Steam, but it's flawless integration made the perfection better. The only downside is that you still can't get mods if your not playing on a computer, however Terraria is developed by different people across different platforms. So who can really complain? If you like Terraria but feel you want a little more then you'll definitely love this. The best part? Well, if you legitimately have Terraria via Steam then it's free. It's like if Terraria and it's community had a baby. Oh wait, that's exactly what it is...

I was watching Youtube when I found this game and it probably popped up because I watch a lot of Terraria. I watched videos and did a little bit of research on the game to see whether or not I really wanted it. Shortly after first learning of this game's existence I learned that the main developer (sorry if I'm wrong) used to work on Terraria for Re-logic, and this really peaked my interest for the game. I am really satisfied with the game as a whole. The only thing I dislike about this game is that I need a mod to be a penguin (apparently in the future they will have the average intelligence of a human if not greater). The community for this game is quite large and it's mods really encompass anything the game didn't have that I didn't know I wanted.
