When I first bought The Letter, I wasn’t expecting much, I had never heard anything about it, and at most I was expecting a 6/10, what I wasn’t expecting was some of the best writing I’ve ever seen in a game.
One of the few games where your choices actually matter, whether a character lives or dies early on can practically change entire chapters later on, it’s refreshing and honestly surprising to see these changes working so naturally, cause no matter which route you pick, every character will still feel genuine.
In fact, the characters are the best part of this game, each character feels like a real person, reacting realistically to each event of the game, they all have upcomings and shortcomings, all of them love and fear, and it’s amazing how the game is able to portray each of these so well.
The story itself takes a while to get interesting, but in the end it’s so worth it, the mystery is intriguing and depending on the events on your route, the characters’s own determinations shine a lot, seriously there are a lot of great character moments, both happy and sad.
Aside from amazing characters and an interesting story, The Letter also offers animated character sprites, animated CGs, and extremely good voice acting, I genuinely fell in love with some of the VA’s performances, especially Luke Wright’s. You can feel the love and effort that was put into making this game.
I do have some complaints though, at many times the writing is so overly descriptive it hurts the story’s pacing, scenes feel very slow when sometimes they don’t really have to be, this becomes especially annoying when replaying the game to see the different outcomes.
Overall it’s a solid 9/10 from me, if you have the time and don’t mind reading a LOT, it definitely is worth it.

tl;dr: very interesting story, amazingly interesting characters, choices that matter and great voice acting, can be a bit slow at times though.

Contradiction - Spot The Liar! is a point and click game where you play as Detective Inspector Frederick Jenks through the investigation of the apparent suicide of a young lady named Kate Vine. What stands out the most in this game is that the whole game is made out of live action video scenes, this is one of the strongest points of the game because of it's originality and because of the over the top acting of some characters, especially Jenks himself.
The writing is not amazing, but it's worthwhile, the only part which I disliked was the ending, which seems rushed. There were also some video issues for me (video flickering mostly), it didn't ruin the experience at all, but I can see it bothering people, so you might want to watch out for that.
It's not a masterpiece for sure, but I'd say it's worth it if you want to have some fun and have some money to spare.

Grim Fandango is a point-and-click adventure game that tells the story of a skeleton called Manny Calavera, he lives in this world that is the place between the world of the living and the afterlife, and his job is to sell people packages so they can travel to the afterworld faster (by walking it takes 4 years, but the fastest travel method takes 4 minutes), but some things go wrong when Manny meets this lady called meche and things start to get messed up.
I enjoyed the whole experience because the game has some great characters and a very good sense of humor, however, speaking as someone who's not used to play point-and-click adventure games, some of the puzzles ended up very frustrating to me and I even had to check a guide online once or twice, but even then, I still enjoyed the game a lot. The soundtrack is also very good, I mean, it's not something I'd listen out of the game, but the way the music changes at every different place you go so that it fits the atmosphere makes the game a whole new better experience.
So, I can recommend this game to you from the bottom of my soul, even if you do have to check a guide, don't feel bad for it, as the game is still a great experience for itself.

STEINS;GATE is a visual novel about time travel and it's by far the best time traveling story I have ever seen, I hadn't seen the anime before playing this, and I don't regret it, sincerely, I think it only added more to the experience, but if you have already watched the anime, I still recommend this and if you really watched it, you know why. This game is so brilliant in many ways, it made me feel happiness, sadness, anger and a lot of other feelings at the same time, I can not start do describe how wonderful this experience was to me, I can only say I extremely recommend this.

First things first, Zero Time Dilemma is the third entry in the Zero Escape series, and you need to play the other 2 games in order to understand this one properly, with that said, let's continue.
Zero Time Dilemma is by far the worst of the three games, but that does not mean it's bad, it's just not as good as the others, but that's on a story point of view, personally, i prefer the storytelling mechanic on this game (movie like, something similar to a telltale game) than the storytelling mechanics on the other games (text based), i think it makes the characters look more human and makes the story less monotone. I also think most of the puzzles on this game were better than most of the puzzles on the other games (of course, there are exceptions), i think that because the puzzles on this one are more about decifrating codes and finding passwords than doing math based minigames (nothing wrong with that, i just think it got very annoying in the other games). There's also one important thing that differs this game from the others, the story is not told in a linear way, you play through fragments and later you find out what actually happened and how these fragments matched with other fragments, initially i hated this, i thought it was confusing and ruined the storytelling, but as i continued playing, i noticed it's not that bad, mainly when things start to make sense.
So, after all, what makes this one worst than the other ones? Well, i'll start by stating that the story is overall weaker than in the other 2 games, but that isn't so much of a problem, because it's still rather interesting, what i actually disliked a lot about this game were the poorly made plot twists near the end, don't get me wrong, there are some plot twists in this game that turns the other 2 games around, but mainly the final 2 ones, involving the mastermind and his "complex motives" that are NEVER entirely explained, i won't spoil it for you, but it does ruin the experience a little bit.
Well, so in conclusion, the game is weaker than the other 2, but not bad, and if you played the other 2 and want to finish the story, you totally should play this.
