Good game. Try it. You'll like it. A lot. All the joys of Doom Eternal with gunplay up the wazoo. There are buttons to unload, load, and chamber your weapon. That is depth and that is hot. People blow the guro out of the water and that's okay. Everyone has opinions and my opinion is that for an indie dev, they've made something that blows AAA shooters out of the water with articulate care to details and just straight up love. Lore and revelations hit different and you have to read between the lines to understand but it gets chilly. Trust.

If one day doekuramori makes another game as a rogue like with procedural generated environments I would probably throw my wallet and food at it.

55 hours. All 5 endings. 97% Quest Completion. What an adventure. Experienced this after Automata and it helped a few things click together.
*Amazing story. Really kicks the heart around as it progresses.
*Fluid combat, though FPS drops during combat (especially during magic use) hampered a bit.
*Side quests are a bit too fetch questy and are a chore to carry out, but the background exposition is amazing and frames the world nicely.
*Remaster of soundtrack isn't great in some places (Snow in Summer has an upbeat vocal section that detracts from the nature of the original, but Song of the Ancients - Fate gets dramatically more epic)
*...Hussy...

9.5/10, strongly urge those who play to see it through all 5 endings to get that real experience.

Spent 20-30 minutes loading up a truck full of MGs and Sniper Rifles, getting ready to hunt Saddam.

1 minute after leaving base, we ran over a landmine, and at that moment, the entire base went into awe as two of their edition of Bad Company blew up spectacularly due to all the ammo.

10/10 would gladly over my life to Uncle Sam to die one minute into combat.
