Great fighter, large roster of characters to pick from and solid gameplay, also supports DirectInput controllers so you don't have to get a needlessly expensive 360 controller - any generic 10€ controller works with it!

However all that is brought down by the FPS being really inconsistent on several arenas, with video settings making no impact on performance at all (1280x1024 with all settings highest possible - ~30 fps; 800x600 with everything set to low/off - still ~30 fps which is really bad, as the lower your framerate, the more you start experiencing a horrible slow-motion effect, and is the only reason I haven't been playing it lately), however on the rest of the arenas it's a consistent 60. This also doesn't seem to happen to everyone - either you're lucky or you aren't, as well as it seems to fix itself randomly as you play. It's been almost 5 months since the game came out - there hasn't been a single patch and WB doesn't seem to care. Despite all that, you could be one of the lucky ones who doesn't have any problems with the game - apart from the framerate issue I haven't really had anything else - the game doesn't crash nor freeze.

I still recommend it, and when (if) they finally patch it, it'll definitely be a must-buy. Oh, and one of the biggest pluses in my book - block is a separate button rather than holding back.
