@zT.L33TKill3R Oh man, using tales of demons and gods as a reference for anything. I used to love it but then it stopped getting updated, pretty sure it's dropped now.

Basically in this fantasy you build a "foundation" with qi training. This is the foundation of your path. Then you condense a golden core in the body which is like a seed. Then you crack open the core, and out comes a "baby".

Nascent soul is literal called baby lol, because it is a newly born soul. It's basically like astral projection but stronger. Plus if your body dies while the nascent soul survives, you can take over someone else's body. But making the nascent soul is just the first real step. Now you transform the spirit. This stage is called spirit transformation, but the game translates soul/spirit as god transformation.

@zT.L33TKill3R those one's you mentioned barely delve into the actual stages. Go read Er Gen's novels; Renegade Immortal and I Shall Seal the Heavens

@SaltyStoryteller, Maybe you should read a bit about the way of the martial Dao and the path of ascencion.

@Loz_Collector , I don't play this game, but from all the crappy Chinese cultivation comics I come across, I think the Qi stage is about Building your core, and strengthening your spiritual body, the Golden core is the stage where you've finished developing your basics and should start learning techniques, though, I don't know what the nascent soul is.

What if I have absolutely no god-damn clue what 'Nascent Soul,' 'Golden Core,' 'Gathering Qi Stage' or any of the rest are, but I'm desperately trying to learn, only to run into constant walls of jargon that makes no damn sense as every link I click on, only leads me to yet more questions?

Please, please tell me this game will help me understand what the hell Cultivation is all about-!
